They kept telling me to wait, saying they'd contact me all day. First they offered 60,000 won in Trip Coins, then 70,000 won, and finally just the one night's accommodation. I was so angry. I called the hotel directly, and they said they hadn't received any money yet and told me to talk to Trip, saying it was no longer their concern. When I asked what happened, they said the hotel rejected it. These Trip people are complete scammers; it should be Trick.com, not Trip. I'm calling my credit card company to request a chargeback and filing a complaint with the consumer protection center. I don't know how long it will take, but they are scammers. On the App Store page, Trip.com clearly states 'Supports Simplified Chinese.' However, after downloading and registering, I found that there is no Simplified Chinese option in the app at all. As a long-time member who has spent tens of thousands of yuan globally, I repeatedly reported this issue to their customer service and senior specialists. Shockingly, the official response was extremely arrogant. They claimed that 'because the platform mainly targets overseas users, it does not provide Simplified Chinese,' and brazenly expelled users, telling overseas users who are accustomed to Simplified Chinese to use the mainland Chinese version of Ctrip. This logic is extremely absurd. There are tens of millions of overseas Chinese and international students in Singapore, Malaysia, and even Europe and America who use Simplified Chinese, yet in Trip.com's eyes, they are excluded from 'overseas users.' In contrast, truly international giants like Booking and Agoda all perfectly support Simplified Chinese. There are no technical barriers; they falsely label on the store page to trick downloads, but in reality, they deliberately cripple it and bully customers.
