[R8] Cabify 1/5 · GB AVOID IN BARCELONA: All drivers were scammers (accepting ride then asking you to cancel), one even asked if their friend can ride along in a private booking because they were also heading to the airport… Also be warned, you have to contact an actual agent to delete your account and it takes time. They also tried sending the verification code via WhatsApp only, when there should be an SMS option as well.

I had a horrible driver experience and when I reported it, they took days to get back to me and just said ‘this doesn’t fall within our standards, thanks for letting us know’. I don’t have a licence to drive a moped so it isn’t a service I can use. Refuse to reimburse and sent me a dud link to make a complaint. Only option is to take the scam charge up with the bank. 22. [R63] inDrive. Save on city rides 5/5 · US Convenient: Been using this app since the first day we arrived Manila. I tried grab first and then gsm but no luck. My international number is not working so I tried Indrive and I was surprised by how fast and easy the app is and very convenient to use every time we go out of town. It’s cheaper compared to other apps like grab. I’m very pleased with this app.

Might work fine if you have a Spanish number but we only have our British phone numbers. Use FreeNow instead.

The WhatsApp notification code doesn’t deliver and says it’s unable to send SMS message the number. So the app is pointless if you are abroad and trying to get a cab. Looks like it only works for locals. Don’t bother downloading this app.
