- [R2] Kakao T Good for foreigners: This app works really well for taxis. I use the k.ride one for foreigners. It’s extremely easy and I’ve had no problem with payments or overcharges. It works well for e-bikes too.
- [R9] Kakao T Navigation directions for driver are unreliable: Navigation directions sometimes seem pretty off. On our most recent ride the driver took a strange route that he blamed on the directions from the app that ended up costing twice as much as the estimates cost. In contrast the driving directions from Kakao map showed a much more straightforward and shorter route.
- [R65] Google Maps The best app for the job: Great app but big space for improvement
- [R76] Google Maps Wtf are you doing Google?: This new update is atrocious. You can’t find anything near you. It makes ZERO sense. I type in the word “food” or “pizza” into google maps and instead of giving me nearby business I’m shown photos based on some obscure ranking that applies to business far beyond my nearby location. This is unacceptable. It goes without saying if they don’t fix this I’m not using their pr
- [R13] Kakao T Terrible user experience and confusing GUI: If I could I would not use kakao T. The option to call a venti cab disappears for no reason and only the option to book in 30 minutes shows up. Cannot easily confirm the address I am going to. Hate this app. Would use UBER or Lyft if possible.
- [R22] Kakao T Horrible user experience: 1. App enables racism. If your system or app language is set to English, taxi drivers see your destination address in English, and they skip you on purpose because they fear that you’re a foreigner. 2. Popups and ads. Every time the app opens there’s a stupid popup AD that has nothing of relevance to the user. 3. Speed and Performance The app is laggy and slow and bugs ou
- [R69] Google Maps Zooming in/out issues: App has worked great for years but in the past few months zooming and shrinking has not been centered. Tried reinstalling but it came back after a hour or so of working fine. Update didn’t help either. Zooming to a certain place has been made very hard but besides this bug it’s a nice app.
- [R116] Google Maps Google Maps gui is complete trash: I recently updated my Google Maps app after not updating for a while, and the new user interface is garbage. “Know before you go” ai generated info that I never asked for and large images dominate the pages, making you have to hunt and pack for the information you need. I used to really like this app but now will switch to Apple Maps or Waze.
- [R1] Kakao T Worst app: None of the taxi's location or time information was accurate. Thanks to this, I was 15 minutes late for an important appointment because I was waiting for the taxi. · translated
- [R25] Kakao T I will never use this app.: Their time estimates are almost always wrong snd It takes usually ten minutes for their drivers to arrive even when using their premium service. Find another taxi service if you plan to ride taxis in Korea.
- [R70] Google Maps The worst map for Seoul: Tried to find a restaurant indicated on Google Maps. It had us traveling in circles and the blue dot indicating where we were traveled a 1/2 a block after we stopped
- [R112] Google Maps Impossible: I have used Google Maps for over a decade. Yes 10+ years. This recent update has completely broke the app and made it useless. I use to open the search bar enter “fast food near me” and it would show me all my options. Or I would enter “McDonald’s” and it would show me all the McDonald’s around my area. Now it can’t find anything without an address. Any generic search fails and asks if
- [R7] Kakao T overcharge: It took me a while to realize that every time I used the bikes, I was being charged multiple times. I used them about 15 times and ended up with 71 transactions, plus the tax. I always used taxis, and everything was fine until an old guy charged me extra, on top of what the app showed. He charged me twice, and I got so angry because he started saying it was a long way, etc., which it r
- [R60] Kakao T Geeeeat service: All Taxi drivers were prompted as app indicated. Better than Uber.
- [R68] Google Maps Ellaspice Catering: We utilized their catering for our Hi-Tea on July 11th. Their finger sandwiches were delicious, everyone raved about and we had plenty! In addition, in the last hour I asked for additional menu to accommodate my vegan guests and they came through Lionel champs! The are professional, the food is tasty and you will be very satisfied.
- [R95] Google Maps Google map: Sometime the location details are not accurate, informations is lack of details.
- [R12] Kakao T English speakers: Would be nice to get some support in English. It is oddly difficult to register a credit card, despite having an arc card, a local bank account, and a local phone.
- [R18] Kakao T Foreign numbers: Can you allow people with KakaoTalk accounts registered under foreign numbers to use kakaotaxi in korea as well?
- [R72] Google Maps Bring back featuring the address on top: I love this app, I’ve used it for years. The only reason I’m writing a review now is because with the new update, they’ve hidden the address below and you have to scroll and search for it. I now have to search for it. I have friends who don’t use this app. “Sharing the location” doesn’t work if you don’t have the app. Stop making me search and lift up rocks
- [R114] Google Maps Useless and buggy update: After the latest update, I even cannot find supermarkets on Google Maps. Also a new feature (showing pictures in the search results) is not needed at all or I can even say useless feature because they show a lot of random places which are not related to what I was looking for.
