- [R9] Shopify Point of Sale (POS) No customer info?: It’s impossible to do returns because every single sale from contactless payment says “no customer”. We have to give customers a gift card as credit instead. Not great and an awkward experience for customers. You can’t do discounts with decimals point percentages off (like 12.22%) to get an even number on a sale item. So that makes us have to do manual discounts we have to app
- [R14] Shopify Point of Sale (POS) Can’t enter manual code: I have a discount code for a free item on the app, but whenever I try to add it the cart it says invalid code. I can enter a percent or amount off just not the code
- [R63] Clover Go Good but not great: After the recent updates, multiple reports like Discounts and Removed Items are not working on the app. Clover also has pretty constant outages that affect our business by causing orders to get lost or deleted when their servers are down.
- [R70] Clover Go Awful terrible app: Truly a terrible app with so many bugs and glitches.
- [R3] Shopify Point of Sale (POS) Stop changing the interface design.: It keeps changing and only gets worse.
- [R49] Shopify Point of Sale (POS) Can yall STOP with the updates??: The interface of the app changes every. damn. month. Who did you hire for this, and why are they perpetually dissatisfied with their own work? In a busy retail space when new employees get hired all the time, it’s a huge headache to re-learn how to use the app every couple of weeks. The checkout is different, the discounts are different, the buttons get shuffled a
- [R95] Clover Go Simple to use: Very easy to navigate, hardly ever have a problem
- [R84] Clover Go Connecting: Sometimes it’s hard to connect to the device
- [R10] Shopify Point of Sale (POS) HORRIBLE UPDATE: Please fix this, the newest update is ruining our in store sales. Every time someone checks out the buttons for cash go away and we had to force close and try and click it fast before the buttons disappear and then we have to force close the app between every purchase because the screen won’t clear and freezes and then doesn’t even give us an option to print a receipt. The new upd
- [R22] Shopify Point of Sale (POS) What happened?!: This used to be a great app but now doesn't function properly. I loved the bar code scanner but now it almost never works. Same thing with the card reader it almost never connects causing loss in sales! I've tried using it on multiple devices and it's the same on all of them! I'm seriously considering changing platforms for my buisness.
- [R1] Shopify Point of Sale (POS) Forgotten pin… locked out forever: Will not let you log in to change pin number if you forget. So the app is useless to me. Deleting until their AI can figure it out I guess…
- [R25] Shopify Point of Sale (POS) Onboarding nightmare: I thought a washing machine had the worst UX but Shopify is a POS literally. I was trying to help someone receive payments and the app is stuck in the create a pin screen and nothing works. No support, just dead on delivery.
- [R76] Clover Go Sub par.: The fees are constantly changing. And you can only remind about an invoice one time, and no option to resend an invoice. I’ll be switching to something different soon.
- [R97] Clover Go We might charge you!!!: The fees go from $24 to $123 to $61. No reason they can give you. If you want to cancel they told me we could or may charge you for 60 days!! After you cancel. Also you may or may not be charged an etf, maybe… we may waive it or we may charge your account $750. I wish I wasn’t telling you the truth. 100% DO NOT recommend.
- [R41] Shopify Point of Sale (POS) Often logs out: Although usually really good, we often have to relogin which is annoying. The printer often disconnects which causes delays at the tills. No faults were found. The updates are regular and so things change or disappear, which causes stress to staff. Less updates would be good. Shopify support are however amazing and always helpful.
- [R46] Shopify Point of Sale (POS) Persistent Reader Connectivity Issue Unsolved: They clearly know this is an issue, but their solution has been to sell additional hardware that doesn’t actually solve the problem. They gaslight you into thinking you are the only one having the issue despite extensive evidence online that all merchants encounter these issues. As a 10 year customer, I’m looking elsewhere due to the impact this has o
- [R111] Clover Go No customers service: After an update clover made one feature we need was no more available. So we had to get all new devices. Here started the Desaster. No chance to transfer all data from the old to the new one. The sales person had no idea. Called technical support hang in the line for hours. And people on the phone had no idea as well.
- [R117] Clover Go Clover ruined my business: Getting clover was the one of the worst mistakes I’ve ever made in my life. There is no customer support, it’s awful for small business, and it’s rigged to take all your money. They should be ashamed of themselves. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR CLOVER!
