- [R3] American Airlines Issues with boarding passes: After adding my KTN it still does not show up on my boarding passes. Whenever adding a boarding pass to my wallet on my phone if it is part of a trip it will try to add all boarding passes from the trip even for past flights that have already occurred. I have not had this issue with other airlines, seems like it’d be a simple fix and is hopefully corrected soon. Beside
- [R8] American Airlines Miles booking is impossible for international: I tried to use the App for booking international flights using miles. It was impossible, the flights that display for purchase are totally different than the flights for miles and classes were not available. I called the Advantage Platinum desk talked with George and he struggled too and then drop the call after he put me on hold because he couldn’t
- [R24] American Airlines Room For Improvement: Overall, I think the app is okay. It does the basics of letting you book a trip and handling the essential information while you’re traveling. But there’s a couple things that could be better. 1. My trips always involve two legs so for example my next trip is from Orlando to Chicago with a layover in Charlotte as all my trips are. However instead of referring to the trip b
- [R74] United Airlines United Airlines App a Must Have: I am so impressed with the United Airlines App. Consistent Updates on Flight Info, Gate to Gate Mapping and Walking Distance Info. Seat Change optional literally up to the main door closing. Flight Entertainment at your Fingertips. A Really Awesome Travel Tool to Have
- [R6] American Airlines Slow: It runs slow
- [R30] American Airlines Great But…: The app is great but extremely frustrating to book. If you switch to gather info from a text or anything, the app tends to refresh and you have to start over!
- [R31] American Airlines Worst EVER!!!: Absolutely useless!! I had to type in my information over and over and over. The number they gave me did not work. It kept telling me my emails didn’t match even though I had others check that it did. Worst app ever.
- [R115] United Airlines Easy to navigate!: United App has been the easiest to navigate with timely alerts.
- [R34] American Airlines Slow, buggy, and dated: The AA app performs poorly in comparison to apps offered by competitors United, Southwest, and Delta. Everything seems to take a ridiculously long time to load and certain pages just don’t load. For example, I cannot open the page to update my personal information in the app without getting an error code. This issue transcends app updates. This app clearly needs a major o
- [R46] American Airlines Useless: Check-in is broken. It never works. Keep getting an error message saying to check-in at the airport. But I can check-in using web page.
- [R49] American Airlines Won’t load the login page: Despite having deleted and redownloaded the app it won’t load the login screen making the app entirely useless
- [R41] American Airlines Easy but $$$ for everything: I miss the days when a $400 ticket meant $400, not where by the time you pay for a Bag, a seat, a window, room for your legs, and a peanut your new ticket price ends up $700! Do the CEO’s of America pay more to sit in the front at the movies or to be further away from the bathrooms at a restaurant:)?
- [R37] American Airlines Bad: They want to charge for absolutely everything, I won’t buy flights with this airline again
- [R106] United Airlines Outrageous fees: I will never fly united again, not only that I have to buy my plane ticket. Then I had to pay extra for the seats that I was sitting in then I had to pay extra for my carry-on bag extra for a check bag. All of these extra charges were absolutely ridiculous and completely unnecessary. On JetBlue not only are my seats free and my carry-on is free and one check bag is free, but the
- [R4] American Airlines They don’t refund: I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with American Airlines. I booked a ticket under the impression that I could cancel within the standard 24-hour window for a full refund. They explicitly state they offer this, but after canceling, the refund never came. Be incredibly careful booking with them, and don't trust their cancellation policies. I will be taking my business to oth
- [R22] American Airlines It’ll take your money. That’s it.: As of this review, the American Airlines app is the most cumbersome and useless airline app. When I book a trip on any other airline, it will list the trip from beginning to end, not by segment. (Good luck finding your flight.) And heaven help you if you have any issue with your flight. The “system” will crash leaving you use other options to rebook. And they are
- [R58] American Airlines Dump of an airline: After they moved our connecting flight three times, finally making it impossible for us to make our second flight. They crammed four of us into the worst possible motel room with a single bed in Miami and a new flight more than 24 hrs from our initial flight. I knew I should have chosen delta….AA doesn’t even deserve a single star.
- [R67] United Airlines Awful: United has been the worse airline. Delay in Shreveport then Houston rerouted me to San Francisco with a 5 hour layover. No one would help me in the Houston airport that worked for United. No vouchers were give, no upgrade, just a waste of my time. I will NEVER fly United after this trip.
