  1. [R1] USAA DriveSafe 1/5 · US Collects data from Uber and other non insured with USAA vehicles.: The app is absolutely ignorant as to what and when I drive. If I uber on a Mexico vacation it collects data. If I ride with someone else it collects data. If I drive a vehicle insured by State Farm it collects data. At least State Farm has a module in the vehicle that lets them know ONLY when I’m driving/riding in the vehicle
  2. [R4] USAA DriveSafe 2/5 · US Always on: This is the ONLY app on my phone that requires location services “Always On”. It refuses to work with “while using app” & keeping the app open in the background. Always On drains my battery & interrupts my privacy. USAA needs to fix their protocol requirements for this app or I’m going to have to drop out of their drive safe program.
  3. [R6] USAA DriveSafe 3/5 · US Penalized for receiving calls while traveling: I am traveling with my Airstream and have to take business calls, hands free and send messages and I get dinged for getting and receiving calls plus I get rated for sending a hands free messaging. Also if I am taking a picture while stopped I get dinged.
  4. [R62] Google Chrome 5/5 · US This App: Great app with so many things to do! I enjoy the fact that I can search whatever I want aces it’s lightning fast!
  5. [R7] USAA DriveSafe 1/5 · US Discount is good but app does not track well: Have been using for over a year and you can get a good discount. But app cannot reliably recognize if you’re the driver or passenger. And if you’re driving a work vehicle you have to edit it manually for every single trip. And it can use up a lot of battery running in the background. I would much rather use the small Bluetooth devices that other insure
  6. [R28] USAA DriveSafe 1/5 · US Sucks if your a passenger in the car: This sucks if you’re the passenger in the car you constantly have to change to say you’re the passenger! There has to be a better way even if your in the back seat you have to change the app from driver to passenger it sucks the app sucks
  7. [R38] USAA DriveSafe 5/5 · US Easy tool to Use: DriveSafe is simple and easy to use and provides feedback on how you drive, how to improve.
  8. [R10] USAA DriveSafe 2/5 · US Need a device for the car: USAA needs a device that stays in your own vehicle similar to State Farm’s device. Tired of getting penalized for not even driving and constantly having to go into the app to change my penalties.
  9. [R29] USAA DriveSafe 4/5 · US Unreliable: The app consistently rates me as the driver when I am a passenger, and for example, on two occasions, my wife as the driver has tapped the brakes and pulled to the side of the road to give way to emergency vehicles, and the app has not only registered me as the driver, which I later corrected, but lowered our rating significantly because of "harsh breaking." Also, the app went off-line
  10. [R60] USAA DriveSafe 1/5 · US Every trip includes harsh braking: Somehow no matter my driving style, this app always reports harsh braking. The occurrences are even shown on the highway when no brakes were applied. Very frustrating for someone who is a safe driver and never uses their phone in the car.
  11. [R64] Google Chrome 1/5 · US Closed all open tabs randomly??: I opened chrome to find out it had randomly closed all open tabs. Looks like it’s time to switch back to Safari as this app clearly cannot be trusted. Shame.
  12. [R5] USAA DriveSafe 4/5 · US Finally! Recognition of Great Driving! But the app makes many mistakes.: 60 years of driving with zero infractions. Glad that my driving habits finally get a cash reward. But this app continues to be unable to distinguish whether I am the driver or the passenger. My wife and I are almost always together in the car, sharing driving duties. But the app fails to identify who is driving and I have to
  13. [R12] USAA DriveSafe 3/5 · US Discount: I’ve had issues getting the app to work correctly. The location always & app update keep on not working properly. I’ve deleted & reloaded but it doesn’t change.
  14. [R65] Google Chrome 5/5 · US Good: Goods
  15. [R16] USAA DriveSafe 1/5 · US Logs bogus events: I’ve tried to be patient with this app. It logs bogus ‘harsh breaking’ events and has lowered my score with no way to remedy it except lie and say you are a passenger. Fix it or I’m out!
  16. [R40] USAA DriveSafe 1/5 · US Absolutely terrible: Gets you on everything. As a passenger as a driver. Rides the bus go through a drive thru. Wasting space on your phone to get a imaginary discount.
  17. [R72] Google Chrome 3/5 · US Account hacked?: Cannot access my account with trillions of chips! She emailed me once. I still cannot access my account. Please find someone who can help?
  18. [R100] Google Chrome 1/5 · US New update BUGS: Recent updates have caused my chrome browser to start saving search history and websites browsed even though settings are all turned off. I verified settings were off, updated the app, and it is still happening. This just started this week. What is going on????
  19. [R19] USAA DriveSafe 1/5 · US Quit it with the tacking: I find it extremely alarming that, in order to pay less for something that doesn’t benefit me in the long run, you have to collect all sorts of data and information, you mislead the public to give up their freedoms to travel in order to obtain “better rates” for a scam that at the end if someone where to crash my vehicle you will simply not pay me for the tidal dames or t
