- [R1] Dayuse.com The app has become worse due to hidden prepayment policies: I used to love using this app because it didn't require any prepayments and offered true free cancellation. However, the recent changes have made it very frustrating to use. Even when a room says "free cancellation," you are now required to pay a prepayment fee that varies wildly depending on the hotel. To make matters worse, if you cance
- [R61] HotelTonight Has gotten SO much worse: This app was considerably better 6-7 years ago. With each new version of it, they remove more functionality. Like being able to choose a price range in your hotels. They got rid of that. With every iteration, they cave more to what hotels want, rather than to what customers want. Some new app will come along soon and put this one to bed. Just wait for it. 👎
- [R62] HotelTonight So easy: This app is easy and accurate plus gives credits to Airbnb.
- [R68] HotelTonight Exceptional: I now only use HotelTonight. The prices cannot be beat.
- [R6] Dayuse.com Great service, but app needs work: I use this service quite a bit, but I’ve found that the app can be clunky. More often than not my reservations don’t show up until I force close and restart the app multiple times.
- [R21] Dayuse.com App keeps crashing: Great service but the app crashes a lot on my iPhone
- [R70] HotelTonight Awful filter options: This app lacks features to filter out what you need. Was trying to get a room in Paris during the summer and wanted to check out rooms that included AC. Wasn’t even an option. Can’t even filter low-to-high pricing. What an awful app.
- [R22] Dayuse.com Hotel did not honor reservation: USELESS APP. I booked a day room for 8am arrival and received a confirmation from the app. When I arrived at the hotel, they told me no rooms were available. They also told me they only honor these types of requests if they have rooms available at the time. So basically, this app will make a reservation that the hotel may or may not honor. I then called the numbe
- [R25] Dayuse.com Zero Stars: Decided to try this service. Booking was simple and easy. Got my confirmation email. The day of my reservation, the hotel at Courtyard Marriott in Waikiki said they did not have any history of my reservation, the confirmation number I showed them did not come up and that they have been booked for all day for dayuse. I feel like I got scammed by the app and by Marriott. I will be tellin
- [R73] HotelTonight Stay far away: Do not use this app to book a hotel. They have no support and hotels will not help you because you booked through a third party. It’s unbelievable. If your flight gets delayed and your friend is getting there earlier and you didn’t think to add their name well that’s too bad there’s no way to do it
- [R88] HotelTonight DO NOT EVER USE: Booked a hotel for two nights in nyc, arrived and the hotel said they’re full. Called hotel tonight and they said nothing they could do. I looked on their site and saw 30 available rooms that night. Every 5 minutes they’d call one and try to book (for 1-5k per night compared to my 300). Every single one booked even though on their site saying it was available. What a scam of a b
- [R7] Dayuse.com Misleading pricing: Be very cautious about hidden taxes and fees. They are listed but buried in the details, so unlike hotels.com, the price you see in big numbers will be much more than posted. Seems silly they don’t just post the final price so we can easily compare apples to apples. Each hotel has their own extra fees.
- [R66] HotelTonight The taxes should be included: The taxes should be included
- [R86] HotelTonight I used to love this app: I used to love this app. Not so much anymore, now that I’ve noticed they will price gouge you right before checkout… that’s right, they’ll get you interested in a room for say $100 a night for 3 nights then you go to the final page and it is twice the price. I’ll just cut this app out and go directly to the hotel. Even though I’m a level 12 on here it’s about to stop compl
- [R100] HotelTonight Not all included price: Prices was “all fees included”. At hotel was assessed a $30 “Urban Experience Fee “ (ie “resort fee”). No choice in the fee. How claim “all fees included”????
- [R19] Dayuse.com No help: Good conceptually, terrible customer service if you actually need help. Not available in a timely manner via phone nor email if problems arise.
- [R65] HotelTonight Guest service: ALPHA WAS INCREDIBLE WITH ASSISTING ME WITH MY RESERVATION SHE TRIED HER ABSOLUTE BEST TO CREDIT ME COMPLETELY BUT DUE TO THE HOTEL POLICY I HAD TO PAY A ONE NIGHT STAY HOWEVER SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO GET ME REBOOKED IMMEDIATELY. Thank you!! Alpha is the best! 😊
- [R79] HotelTonight Amazing Customer Service: Had an accidental double charge on a booking. The agents at the call center were very helpful and attentive. They got me my refund for the accidental charge within 8!hours of the incident. Very impressed with their willingness to go above and beyond to remedy this error.
- [R104] HotelTonight Refunds Impossible: If you don’t like working with a company that absolutely refuses to do refunds, no matter the , do not use hotels tonight. Otherwise, be ready for a wild ride, where you get told that you may get a refund, but ultimately do not. There is no such thing as a refund with this company.
- [R74] HotelTonight My go-to app for stays and vacays!: Been using Hotel Tonight for years and it’s never steered me wrong. All the stays have been clean rooms and good deals.
