They don't sound right, and they do mess with your voices. I was using Voice dream reader with an older phone and had used the AI enhanced voices, and it was causing all kinds of problems, but with the new iPhone 16, there aren't as many. Stay away from AI

It wastes time to get you to the actual start page where you can’t even sample one read without paying first. I found this the lest appealing of 5-6 apps in this category I downloaded today.

You can change the voice, although it’s a clunky mechanism, because you think you already did, and then have to fiddle around with obtuse interface. Plus, I don’t need 100 different voices, if they all are going to be in a jarring Stephen Hawking robot staccato.

The only problem I have is that it doesn't seem to support documents with images such as graphs very well. Could be just some of the PDF documents I'm using though.
