Please remove this behavior or make it optional. It’s an unnecessary and frustrating change that negatively impacts the user experience.

It can be done with a $70 third party component from Meross. Why? If not for the lack of competition, I would have selected another brand of Garage door opener because of this.

On many occasions you will have to repeatedly try it before it works. Sometimes it will not work at all in which case you have to have an alternative. I am using a Q hub with a Genie.

Yesterday my grandson installed a new router, well for 2 days now I have been trying to hook this app up to the new router. I have a garage door opener and a camera the camera no problem but the hub ( opener) will not connect and I am about to pull my hair out

41. [R8] 1/5 · US Fix the Audio Issues: This app shouldn’t have any ability to affect my currently playing audio, seeing as how it’s simply for opening and closing my garage. It’s ruining the otherwise mostly smooth app experience. There needs to be a permanent solution in place. If there was a widget for opening and closing the door, this would likely never be an issue.
