Sadly my parents, grandparents and most of my parent’s siblings were no longer living. A family Bible, and a family tree existed, but were never shared, on one side. Over the years ancestry has improved and is a joy to use. As with anything, you learn by trial and error.

I decided I wasn’t ready to get into the ancestry of my family, moneys tight, can’t afford it right now, I’ll do it when things are more stable, and then I was charged a $25 cancellation fee. Now, I will never come back to this. Good riddance.

I created my account in 2010 to try to keep track of my family tree and I used to be excited when it said I had a new possible family member but now it won’t even let you look at the new hint unless you pay $40 a month. I have even paid for and used one of the DNA kits to try to help with pin pointing

Since my families don’t know too much where they came from, etc. But the traits we should have a way to let you know you are wrong/incorrect. I see so many ancestors with hints-some just one and others with many more. Problem is, when I tap on the leaf, I get a message that there are no new hints to review. Every time, every ancestor. Removing that makes no sense. Also, app generally won’t locate matches <20 cM shared DNA, have to go to the website for that. App should be making mobile use easier, not harder.

Not a lot of fun when each tree has 40,000 people ☹️. And just for fun they add another bug that requires that the app remain open while each Tree downloads
