JustFit
JustFit is a decent workout app with personalized plans, but its aggressive monetization tactics and misleading advertising about being free make it a questionable value for many users.
JustFit offers personalized workout plans and can be motivating, especially for beginners and seniors, but many users report deceptive 'free' advertising and forced subscriptions after only a few days of use. While some find the paid version valuable for its guided routines, others experience billing issues, poor customer service, and a reduction in free content over time.
Free vs paid
The app is free to download, and some users initially find free workouts available R10R48. However, many reviews indicate that after only 3-4 days, users are forced to pay for a subscription to continue with their personalized workout plans R9. Some long-term users also report that previously free workout options have been removed, pushing them towards paid programs R14R54R57R58. The paid version offers guided routines, and some users feel it's worth it for the coaching and variety .
Value complaints
- Advertised as free but requires payment to progress or use core features.R1R4R9R12
- Fraudulent charges, unexpected renewals, and difficulty canceling subscriptions.R16R26R28R32
- High cost of subscription, especially annual plans, with no monthly option.R347

Where it delivers
- Effective for weight loss and fitness goals, with users feeling progress and motivation.R3R6R8R10
- Offers varied and personalized workouts, including options for different fitness levels and needs (e.g., chair yoga, bed workouts).R23R34R48R50
- Provides clear instructions and visual guidance for exercises.R24R35
It might be worth paying if you are a beginner or senior looking for guided, varied workouts and are confident in managing subscriptions to avoid unexpected charges R6R34R50. It could also be valuable if you find the personalized plans motivating and prefer a structured approach over self-guided workouts R23R24.
Skip if you are looking for a truly free fitness app, as the advertising is misleading R1R4R12. Also skip if you have specific physical limitations or injuries, as the app's customization for these issues is often inadequate and customer service is unresponsive R41R75R80R99. Users who are sensitive to AI instructors or expect a 'game' aspect should also skip, as these are common complaints .
Evidence note: The lifetime rating is high, but recent reviews are heavily skewed negative, particularly regarding monetization and false advertising. Many positive reviews are short and lack detail, while negative reviews are extensive and specific about billing issues and misleading claims. There is a clear disconnect between the overall rating and current user sentiment regarding value.

- [R1] Lied: The ad I saw, which was why I chose to download the app, said it was free. Not even “FREE TRIAL,” but FREE. Of course, there are always in-app purchases but I couldn't do anything for free but waste my time.
- [R4] disappointed: i really got my hopes up tht is was free and it WAS NOT im 11 and i wanna start changing my body shape and tht made me quite disappointed
- [R9] Money: While I was doing the workout plan it never said that you would have to pay to continue and now I’m very disappointed because what about people that can’t afford it and just thought it was free.👎
- [R12] Ads state FREE! Far from free!!!!: The advertisements the person’s asking the person exercising how much is it? It’s free then you go to sign up and they want a credit card and it’s not free at all. Very, very deceptive. All it’s gonna do is earn you of one star rating.
- [R16] Charged without warning: If you decide to do the low cost trial., Be sure to put a reminder in your phone to cancel it. They charge you the renewal without any warning to give you a minute to go and cancel the subscription. For me, this app was a waste of money because I never even used it, and unlike the majority of apps where you either get something from the app itself or from Apple Pay telling
- [R26] Fraudulent charges and no way to contact actual customer service: I wish I could give zero stars, I feel so scammed after getting this app with the initial purchase that was supposed to be an annual subscription one time payment but then it charges monthly on top of that without any way to cancel it as when I click on the cancel link in the app it will bring you to an error page, then the only way
- [R28] Charged after 3 years: Cancelled my subscription in June 2023 (email confirmation) and was just charged. I have not logged into or opened this app since before June 2023. Not sure where to find a number for JustFit but will be disputing with cc company.
- [R32] Rip off!!: If there were a zero, this is it! Do not do it!!! They have billed me multiple times since January and do a refund or 2 and then keep billing but you never get your money back and you never get taken care of!!! I have a photo where they bill me like 3 or 4 times in a row at once. And I have never used the app!!
- [R347] Fattymcfatto: Great, too expensive tho, should make the option to pay by the month not by year
- [R14] They got rid of a lot of options: There used to be a lot of workout options with a variety of levels, amount of time, and choices of workout. They had dance workouts, yoga, chair, bed, focusing on different body parts, and generic fat burn. They offered anywhere from 14-day to 28-day workouts. Some of them took under 10 minutes, others were under 20. It used to be great. Now I have four options an
- [R54] Won’t renew: The update eliminated the main reason I purchased this app. All the workouts of different types and lengths have disappeared. Now the app is pushing paid programs only. This app got me ip again starting with bed workouts after major traumatic injuries. All that has disappeared. I’m done.
- [R57] I am pi$$ed off: I just went on today and they got rid of all the free workouts and my favorite workout that burned 305 calories .
- [R58] Newest update ruined app: I have had this app for almost a year, loved it…until the newest update. Since the discovery tab has been changed to the boost tab, there are hardly any exercises on the app. The discovery tab had a lot of options of all different types of exercises and lengths of time for each exercise. My annual renewal is coming up soon, I will not be renewing if the app is only going
- [R3] Perfect: I feel so good
- [R6] Day 1: I’m 68-year-old female, this is my first day-was able to complete with a few modifications. My goal is to do it exactly as in the video And Stay caught up with her!
- [R8] Just fit: I resting and hopefully I can make it
- [R10] Download now!!!!!!: I love this as a younger person who is slightly over weight this is amazing. It’s free, convenient, and fun. I wouldn’t choose any other app!
- [R23] Inspirational to follow & Various keeps it interesting!: This app has a new plan each day activating new /all muscles, an overall workout! You simply add dumbbells to make any routine harder in difficulty! Great for beginners and Experienced alike!! :) :) The various routines keep it interesting each day! And I also love the “bed” options! That sometimes gets me back in the game as a great star
- [R34] Perfect for busy and lazy seniors!: I am recommending this to everyone! I can squeeze in multiple workouts a day. Before work, during lunch, before bed. And you feel it right away!
- [R48] Fitness plan: Love this app first of all. Second of all, even without the premium plan, you can still get a really good workout in. you don’t have to get the premium in order to work out like other apps. third of all it worked surprisingly. i’ve had this app for a month. Highly recommended!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
- [R50] Chair yoga: Nice low-key chair exercises and stretches. Just right for this 74-year old.
- [R24] I love it!!!!😍 The best workout I’ve had in years: Just finished my first workout and am already drenched in sweat easy to follow along i truly enjoyed each and every workout excersise presented todaythank u justfit i am truly motivated don’t wait start now!!!! Weight loss goals here i come😁😊
- [R35] Download itttt!: I just got this app and I love it.I love how it gives you breaks and how it shows a person doing to exercises!
- [R41] Waste of money beware: They ask you a couple of questions and then give you an exercise plan they want you to have. I am disabled and they gave me walk Pilates. I have been trying to contact them for three weeks and keep getting automatic responses. They took it upon themselves to cancel my subscription. I only wanted to have the la y workout plan done from bed because that’s something I can do.
- [R75] I’m old: There are things I can’t do because of injury. What do I do to adjust.
- [R80] Concerned about equipment: I paid for the full year subscription and I made sure I excluded the equipment option but my personalized routine included equipment so I’m not doing all the exercises. Wish they could work on that. :/
- [R99] I purchased this because I thought it would work with my limitations: Entire workouts are based on being on all fours bending the entire time I can’t do either. I have to keep skipping workouts so this does not work total waste of money.
