- [R3] Live Transcribe Way too expensive: I thought getting the yearly subscription will have unlimited use but there is a time limit per month. This is absurd and a money grab!!
- [R4] Live Transcribe Pricing Creates a Barrier for Those Who Need It Most: I’m deaf and disabled, and I truly need this feature. It’s very disappointing that it requires a $9.99 monthly subscription. Instead of making essential accessibility features more affordable for customers who depend on them, it feels like you’re putting them behind a paywall. I simply can’t afford another monthly expense, and I hope you’ll rec
- [R6] Live Transcribe Not bad: The basic transcript doesn’t work well and not pick up all the conversation. I like the pro but I use more hours a month than what’s offer. It’s becoming too expensive for me to keep adding more hours that month. The basic not reliable and I pad for a whole year. I maybe will cancel out if I find something better.
- [R9] Live Transcribe Affordable?: How can deaf people afford this? Many can’t afford subscription??
- [R1] Live Transcribe Frustration: The app is amazing. It’s changed my life. The customer service is absolutely horrible. The frustration trying to deal with these people takes away from how good the app works. Sadly it’s time to look for a different app
- [R7] Live Transcribe Ripoff: I signed up for the monthly $9.99. Just got billed $324.00 after less than a month of use. Ripoff company. Never recommending and it didn’t really help my elderly Aunt very much.
- [R10] Live Transcribe Upsetting: My 90 year old father wanted to try this app for his hearing loss. Thought he was signing up for trial period, turns out, he purchased a one year subscription. We cancelled subscription as soon as we realized what had happened, attempted to get a refund, after much searching and frustration, we finally found how a refund could be requested. But alas, we were told this item is not eligib
- [R12] Live Transcribe Adding time: I had to google to learn I could find options on the app. When I tried to add time with the app open, telling me I had zero time left, there was a $29.00 option, but when I clicked to upgrade, the choice was over $300. for a year. I wish I had known at that time that I should go back to the app itself.
- [R24] Live Transcribe Need help?: I bought this for the year and was hoping it would be for both my phone and iPad.. do I have to purchase 2 separate subscription for each? The app is great but it’s not great for a Deaf teacher in a public middle school classroom setting where kids r constantly talking over each other. The app gets confused as much as I am. 🤷🏼♀️
- [R25] Live Transcribe Not working: This apps really not working at all as on basic and nothing.
- [R30] Live Transcribe Review: it did very well in Branson Missouri with the music background. Does poorly in my church setting.
- [R19] Live Transcribe Trial time too short: I really wanted to like this app. It seems to work well for the short time I was able to try it. I signed up for the three day trial, but it turns out I only got one day (maybe one hour actual time during dinner) and 30 minutes on the second day because it had a limit on the transcription amount/time. To continue the trial, my only choice was sign up for the annual subscripti
- [R33] Live Transcribe Pain to Purchase: I cannot really judge whether this app works. I tried to invoke the “free trial” but you have to subscribe for a year (£80). It claims to offer a 3 day trial, but is actually at most 48 hours ( before you have to cancel the subscription). Regardless, I could not get the subscription to work, and so no “free trial”, so I have deleted the App.
- [R37] Live Transcribe No good this one min that not free must pay. That bad. Point is none: good this one min that not free must pay. That bad. Point is none
- [R26] Live Transcribe Very helpful, and…: Hello, I got this for an elder friend who is extremely hard of hearing, and in general it serves her well. However, she reports that she can’t hear well while the transcriber is running. It seems her hearing aid speaker audio is ducked for some reason. I don’t understand why that would be, given that the app output is not audio (no danger of feedback or conflict). I have looked
- [R27] Live Transcribe Battery: Why does battery run down so fast when using app?
- [R32] Live Transcribe New update: The new update has made it way too sensitive, it is transcribing voice from the TV in the other room. Not sure what this brief pro mode is but maybe that has something to do with it. The app was perfect. I wish you would not of messed with it.
- [R51] Microsoft Translator Won’t play through headphones anymore?: The audio only wants to play through my phone speaker which is really annoying for studying, wonder if anyone else is having this issue
- [R53] Microsoft Translator Speed of Spoken Phrases: I am seriously frustrated. I have tried and tried to find where to slow down the speed of the spoken words (to better learn them) and I can not find anywhere to do this. I was advised to poke the arrow next to a phrase after a spoken phrase. It didn’t work. I tried looking under the gear symbol, no where to alter speed of speech. I am frustrated!!!!
- [R54] Microsoft Translator Not so good anymore: It doesn’t realize when translating a convo between two people the mic and speaker for the other person needs to stay on the phone not the headphones. So worthless No pinyin so worthless for phonetic pronunciation Most times it just spins because of the mic and speaker oversite.
- [R55] Microsoft Translator Why: Since the update it has many error just translates from one language no 2 like it used to be before
- [R65] Google Translate Good: The
- [R66] Google Translate I don’t understand why they moved the reverse translation.: It’s no longer simple to use; I don’t understand the change.
- [R67] Google Translate Great tool, but Conversation Mode is broken. Bring back manual control!: The auto-detection in Conversation Mode is too aggressive. When sharing one phone with a friend, the app constantly cuts me off and blasts out translations while I'm still talking. It causes a confusing overlap of audio that ruins the conversation. Please bring back the manual recording controls and give us an option to disab
- [R68] Google Translate Error: All I get is “I didn’t understand the audio”. I write to Google to get an answer and all I receive is a “thank you for your feedback” message.
- [R79] Otter Transcribe Voice Notes Worst mistake I ever made: 1 star is generous
- [R80] Otter Transcribe Voice Notes CRO: Fantastic product. Been using it for a while. As someone that is constantly in meetings, not only is the basic AI transcription fantastic, the image capture feature is often indispensable as it gives you instant context to what you were discussing without having to go find materials.
- [R81] Otter Transcribe Voice Notes OK. Integrates well with AI.: Not that great at identifying names of speakers. My hope is that it would identify a voice and give it a speaker number, but you have to go in and label every speaker even when it’s the same person and you’ve already given them a label. Also, I have not figured out a way to crop transcripts so if you record longer than you meant to, you can’t crop that part out.
- [R82] Otter Transcribe Voice Notes How did this happen?: Somehow this app popped up and does its thing, but I do not want it, nor need it, nor know how to use it. How do I stop $$$?
- [R93] Transcribe Imposible to go to PRO: No me permite comprar la versión Pro, me dice que no puedo acceder a App Store
- [R94] Transcribe Top of the Line features: I found the following features very helpful, 1. Transcribes m4a audio files very accurately and very fast! 2. It transcribes a 30min audio file in matter of minutes 3. It very accurately identifies different speakers & assigns speech text to them. 4. Allows me to update the name of the speakers within the app itself. 5. I can easily export the Transcript to an email recip
- [R95] Transcribe Use to be a great app: Not sure what happened but it started to become less accurate, takes forever to upload and took away hours I didn’t use and now says I’m at 0. This use to be my go to, and transcribed well especially adding speakers assigned to the transcriptions. I’m moving on to other apps, but hopefully they fix this for future users.
- [R96] Transcribe Sucks!!: Can’t even tell me what I already know this video says.
- [R107] iTranscribe Malfunctions: App continually craps out and won’t upload content for transcription without deletion and other maneuvers. Glitches in this manner far too often.
- [R108] iTranscribe It is quick: Great!
- [R109] iTranscribe Rough.: I’ll continue looking for a more accurate transcription app.
- [R110] iTranscribe Immediately charged a fee: I waned to try for free and was immediately charged for the annual amount and I could not get reimbursed although I had also immediately cancelled it. Very disappointed.
- [R13] Live Transcribe Nope: Generally useless. It’s a great tool if you want to drop bunches of money, for very little time. Dont expect a reasonable amount of usage. If you use the starter plan you get a whopping 5 hours of transcribing which means don’t plan on restaurants, group activities. So only dr visits, maybe a lawyer chat, and spare use. Very expensive.
- [R39] Live Transcribe Not really free: Free for a week then £5 a month.
- [R16] Live Transcribe It works, but….: I am deaf, this app is my link to the hearing world. It is fairly accurate and does handle background noise pretty well. I have tried several other apps and none work as good as this one. The glaring problem with this app is the customer service. They frequently change subscription plans. The first time I got double billed for a year. The second time the app is now locked up com
- [R29] Live Transcribe My mom couldn’t hear: I pulled up this app at an event that I was attending with my family after I saw my mom start to check out because the audio system was so bad she couldn’t understand. I could barely make it out myself but the app picked up the six panel interviewees voices amazingly well with little errors. My dad even leaned in and we all ended up just reading what was being said. I loved t
- [R48] Live Transcribe So so: Unfortunately this did not work for me. Tried because profound loss of hearing due to chemotherapy. Needed something for work environment. Tried everything and it it’s accuracy was off. For me only worked one on one and small close group not in restaurant with strong wifi or internet and loud single voice. In large groups, church or conference also did not work for me.
