- [R1] Sketch a Day Dark pattern: They changed the way you can see upcoming prompts (used to be ad supported). It says to unlock and gives the option for the monthly subscription and if you click “more” lets you do a 1 time payment as a supporter. Since I clicked “unlock” and then “more” I assumed the one time payment would unlock the thing I clicked unlock on. It did not. This is a dark pattern designed to steal yo
- [R7] Sketch a Day Ads are absurd: There are so many ads the app is nearly unusable
- [R13] Sketch a Day Don’t update if you have an older version - unbearable ads: The newer version of this app forces you to watch extremely long ads over and over, even to browse the app. This app is not usable anymore. Depressing. Give us a reasonable one time fee to have it free forever.
- [R19] Sketch a Day Development issues: The new update was very lack luster and you are not able to upload the daily prompts without ads taking over and see can no longer see the recent art from others as you were previously. I sent a message to the customer support just to get an message back from Tom telling me to delete the free app if I was so unhappy. Talk about a letdown I’ve been on the app for a couple years
- [R5] Sketch a Day love this app but one small thing..: I love the idea of a different prompt everyday. It really helps you branch out and draw things you normally wouldn’t. The only thing I dislike is the glitch i’m having with the “reward gallery”. I cant see any of the art and it’s disappointing because I have 4 unclaimed rewards at the moment. Other than that I love this app.
- [R6] Sketch a Day Good community: The only reason I’m giving a three star is because they deleted one of my posts and when I delete a post it still says it’s there. I have 25 sketches but it says I have 29. And it says I have 646 likes but I really only have 616. So the one they deleted had 30 likes. But it still shows on profile that it’s there (doesn’t even show the drawing). I like it when they can tell us why t
- [R9] Sketch a Day Good but could improve: Hey so sketch a day is great I can share my art work and I love that and I love discovering amazing artists but it will glitch we’re it will not let me see today’s prompt and I have great Internet connection but sometimes it will never load also sometimes the prompts are weird and just not fun to draw I think they should make multiple prompts for the day but overall it is p
- [R12] Sketch a Day Great app and community, unable to upload from iPad: Maybe it’s a bug but when I click “photo library” nothing happens. I tried creating a file named photo library and that still didn’t help. I have jpegs and pngs to upload but I cannot get the app to interact with my gallery. I am on an iPad Pro 5th gen.
- [R16] Sketch a Day Plagiarism: Was erased for paganism on my own work. Said they found out on Pinterest. Of course they did cause it was my Pinterest. 😂 jealous moderators I reckon!
- [R17] Sketch a Day No customer service: The app is great for my purpose, which was getting every day prompts to get me drawing. I can’t complaint in that regard. However, customer service is non-existent. I sent a couple of messages through the app regarding an issue I’m having trying to upgrade, and I never received a response. It’s disappointing
- [R28] Sketch a Day Accused of plagiarism and art was never reinstated: I was accused of plagiarizing my own art and was provided a shady link as proof. The link led to a site that stole my work from my Reddit account. When I reached out to them they apologized and promised to reinstate the artwork, but never did. I’ve screen shorted proof of everything including the apology. Will not be using this app and will tell
- [R4] Sketch a Day Hard Pass: No graphic violence allowed? Might as well cut my fingers off. What is the point? I’m a horror artist. Beyond lame.
- [R40] Sketch a Day Moderator’s were mean: So one time I drew (with a pencil) a dog and the topic was chalk but I don’t have chalk and I can’t draw it and then today I drew a witches fort and the topic was fort and then a moderator say’s to me that it’s not from scratch. I drew it with ProCreate and some people use it and they could use digital thank’s to the moderator I might delete it!
- [R34] Sketch a Day Can’t delete my acc: The app is a nice idea but is badly made. I cannot delete my acc. Also because I had some comments my I can still see my artwork in the app even though I’ve deleted all my drawings. Not cool.
- [R55] Simply Draw Extremely well guided: It’s a great app for kids who have no interest in drawing amazingly well organized . Made big drawings so simple
- [R58] Simply Draw This is amazing: My child has been spending hours on this app i love it shes 8 now and drawing amazingly thank you al much simply draw
- [R61] Simply Draw Great app: So this is a great app and like, there are drawing tutorials and you don't have to make it perfect you just have to have fun with it and you can't go wrong! ♡´・ᴗ・`♡
- [R64] Simply Draw Good: This is so good SimplyDraw makes you do so good stuff like I can try. I can draw good stuff like a cat a panda.
- [R66] Sketchbook® Best app ever: If you're looking for a good app for drawing and writing i would recommend this app, it doesn't need you to watch an ad or anything like that to draw and if you want you can create an album and there are so many other stuffs that are so good! I can't recommend this app enough!
- [R70] Sketchbook® Good app but needs some fixing: I really enjoy this app for art especially converting traditional art to digital so i can color it. However a big downside at least for me as someone who records speed pains was the fact the recording on this app also zooms in and moves whenever you do that to your drawing instead of recording the whole cavas. They act like its a perk but it just makes recordings lo
- [R72] Sketchbook® Amazing: I have been using Sketchbook since about 2016-ish, and it has never failed me! As a lifelong illustrator, I could not recommend a better app for artists of all skill levels. It is clean, organized, user-friendly, and comes with a diverse toolkit that will surely satisfy any creative soul lucky enough to come across it. All in all, a very reliable, affordable app with the artist’s experien
- [R75] Sketchbook® I love this: It’s cool because I can make my things and my baby sister can also play on it and it’s awesome it has a lot of tools for u to use and I love it a lot and u guys will to!
- [R83] Whiteboard Best app ever: You said this app is awesome. You should get it. It’s really good. You should try it. It’s awesome like you can send messages to it like message people with this and I don’t think it will cause Wi-Fi.
- [R86] Whiteboard BEST. GAME. EVER!!!!!: I love to draw and it helps express my creativity.I can draw anything all on one app. There is only one rule for this app. HAVE FUN!!!!!
- [R92] Whiteboard Best draw app ever! Although..: Every time when I was drawing, ✍️ there was a dot ⚫️ was appearing so I pressed the undo button, -> but it never disappeared. 🧐 This happened so many times ☹️I was so sick of it 😡 This is not a bad game. 🫵 I like even that you have photos and colors and also have a rainbow. 🌈 back to it -> I thought it was just a tiny mistake, 😌 but it happened to two too many ti
- [R93] Paper I used to love this app and decided to try it again: Originally in 2021 it was 11ish for a whole year of pro, which was reasonable bc most people will buy physical journals of the same price yearly. I was so disappointed to find out that the app is now 100 for the year. I don’t have that kind of money it’s honestly such a slap to the face as a consumer
- [R95] Paper Good but could be better: The app overall is good, but my only thing is that most of the tools require pro or a subscription to certain parts. Most things I can’t use, like adding multiple photos to each page, using art tools, etc. Would be so much better if it didn’t all require pro.
- [R97] Paper Amazing but not that great: I love this app so much but it doesn’t make it very fun when you have to get something that cost money just so you can add more photos. I could make something like a journal without it being money. 4 stars
- [R99] Paper Cannot use without membership: Will not let me draw unless I purchase anything, requires a membership for some reason I am not sure if this is a user error or if you cannot do anything without a membership, which is insane because it is $100 a year
- [R36] Sketch a Day No customer support: I cancelled my Gold Membership earlier this year because when I had a problem with another member who found it easy to be a bully. I received no help from Sketch a Day whatsoever. I reported his spiteful comments to no avail.
- [R38] Sketch a Day Okay prompts but everything else needs work: Certain file types don’t work, with no plans to fix that. No way to submit animated stuff. No way to block people, so harassment from other users is something you just have to deal with. Moderators don’t seem to respond to reporting issues. Some of the prompts are okay which is what earns this two stars, but you’re better off finding a list elsewhere.
- [R51] Simply Draw Me: I hate it when it makes you pay and doesn’t let you draw without paying
- [R53] Simply Draw Idk: It cost money and I like it, but it cost money and I literally like who would do that and it says it was for free but nope, it cost money
- [R54] Simply Draw >:(: It said that it would be free, but once you’re done with the intro you have to pay so it is a lie don’t get it (trust)
- [R57] Simply Draw “Simply draw completely free” that’s fake: Why do I need to pay to learn to draw? Dumb. I was exited for a while until that happened. Great. I’m going to be a bad artist forever. Thanks
- [R79] Whiteboard No color wheel: Great drawing but stuck with 9 colors and just a rainbow brush for some reason with no color wheel despite how easy thatll be
- [R81] Whiteboard ADD MORE COLORS OR ONE STAR: absolute cinema BUT PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ ADD MORE FREAKING COLORS
- [R82] Whiteboard Stupid app🤬: This app makes me feel like 🤬 I’m 8 years old and I HATE it when it decides to delete my drawings it’s July 4th off to a bad start and it makes me feel so 😡 “best” app ever made FIX IT NOW!!!!
- [R87] Whiteboard Fuhdbdndbnd: It's good but it doesn't save my artwork
- [R96] Paper Greedy: I have paid and used this app for years with a single charge and years later they decided to charge monthly… greedy. If I knew I would be able to export years of work, I would have never stored my creations here
