It’s not like anyone can use it without my permission because Apple Pay needs FaceID. Other than that, game changer for filling up and getting washes if you don’t want to go inside or use the dirty pump buttons.

This essentially has made sure I only go to shell (or still Costco) for gas going forward. I haven’t experienced any bugs with it at all either.

Linked my FR to the Shell app once… then stopped working due to e001 error. Tried deleting accounts to recreate and now it complains my mobile is in use. Way too much aggravation for a few cents off.

21. [R18] 2/5 · US Station gas prices display: The new Shell app is not as good as the old Fuel Rewards app. I prefer how the FR app shows the fuel prices directly on the map. With the Shell app you now have the extra step of scrolling through the station list to find the lowest priced stations after accessing the map. I will continue to use the FR app until this bug is fixed in the Shell app.

Shell took my card out and now I can’t add the new card. Imprint and Shell are both blaming the other company for this. Each time I fillled up buying more than 10 gallons . Sometimes close to 20 gallons and 5 cents is all the discount I got. The app did not link the supposed bigger discount. I called support and they were no help.

Yesterday they gave out codes for $0.10 off per gallon, then later in the day at 2pm ET, they had an additional code for $0.40 off per gallon, but it was limited quantity. Now they want you to pay or download their spyware app. It used to be plug and play. Now I see why the stalls are always open, lol. I hope you EV scheme goes belly up!

Although you cannot reinstall Shell Recharge due to disconnection (discontinued), if you had the app still, and open it, then it shows all chargers but this does not. Even with it in EV and no filters at all.

Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. I drove 7miles to fill up (makes sense because I'm in a Prius with high mpg) from E to save some bucks turns out I payed full price due to the app inaccuracy.

This has happened to me at various Shell locations. The employees aren't trained about the app. Also, the app has a minimum of $15. Sometimes I only have $5 or $10 on my card to spend. The only thing missing is Apple CarPlay support. Apps like Chevron and Texaco in the U.S. let you pay right from your car screen, and having that feature here would make fueling up even easier and safer. Hope to see this added soon!

It should be a much more clear as I wasted time and had to call to figure it out while waiting at the car wash gate.
