11. [R21] 1/5 · CA False advertising: Wish I’d read the reviews before signing up! I saw an ad that said you could take a photo of a book cover and it would read the book to you. This is false advertising! You have to take a photo of every page. Who can be bothered with that? They shouldn’t be allowed to do this. Also the voice is awful and the price is outrageous. Chat GPT will do this for free!

I have paper books that I have purchased that I was expecting to be able to listen to with this app because that is how it is advertised. Take a picture of a box cover and it reads you the book. That is VERY deceiving as you have to take a photo of every page. I feel ripped off.

I go to the page I am supposed to be at and it won't let me click to read from there. The only annoying fix that I kinda found, that only sometimes work is reading the pdf file... Soooo annoying!
