- [R2] DailyArt Inspirational: I have been using that app for a while and it’s been a blast. Every day I take a short break from my usual routine to discover and read about new art pieces. My city lacks art galleries so for me this is the best way to connect with beauty and messages each piece provides.
- [R5] DailyArt Unbelievably Educational: Solid educational app. I really didn’t know anything about art but daily viewing reading the piece of the of day has taught me how to identifying realism vs Impressionism and baroque vs modern styles. It’s become one of the highlights of my day and it certainly beats doom scrolling.
- [R35] DailyArt The best app to learn about different types of art: This app is amazing! I love going in every single day to see the piece of the day. The writing is always a little different, which makes it interesting to come back and read every day. Overall, it’s a great way to learn about little by little every day.
- [R62] Google Arts & Culture Good potential, but ditch the AI: This app has a lot of potential and I was really looking forward to using it as an alternative to mindless scrolling. Unfortunately Google is leaning into AI way too much, including having soulless AI-generated podcasts that “discuss” art. What an insult to humanity! I had to immediately uninstall.
- [R1] DailyArt Cool app but ads ruin it: Shouldn’t have to pay to enjoy an app. Can’t pay for every single app invented, ads make the app unenjoyable and less usable.
- [R20] DailyArt The ads are very overwhelming: So many ads that take me out of the experience. Sometimes the ads even have fake skip buttons that when I click on them they take me to their website instead of exiting the ad. Other than that I think this is still a great app to help improve your art history knowledge. I specifically got this app to help broaden my art terminology so if the ads get more annoying I
- [R24] DailyArt I was until the ads took over: I used to love this app until suddenly there were ads which took over and now there’s no way to get rid of them and get back to the art!
- [R61] Google Arts & Culture Broken App: This app has failed to work for the last two months. Opening it shows “app error” every time. It’s not a network connection as all my apps work properly except this one.
- [R9] DailyArt Low tech high quality product: The art is great, I appreciate the care they put into it. But the subscription is so glitchy, I am subscribed but still see ads. Incredibly frustrating.
- [R21] DailyArt Not all change is good...: I so enjoyed this app until the new version was introduced. Now it is constant frustration. You begin to read and then it immediately goes to an ad. You click off the ad and begin to read again and then there’s another ad. And this is for the "paid for" version of this app. I no longer recommend this and find I turn to it less and less. To bad they changed a good thing.
- [R47] DailyArt Ads and paywall: This would be a decent app if 1) ads weren’t constantly appearing, and 2) bookmarking certain art pieces and exploring different art styles weren’t behind a paywall. With the current state of things, AI slop being everywhere and capitalism at an all-time high, this isn’t good enough.
- [R70] Google Arts & Culture PLEASE READ: So I CANT GET IN GAMES BECAUSE “failing to load content”.I restarted and tried other stuff but it still WONT WORK please fix🥺🙏🏻🙏
- [R14] DailyArt A good way to causally learn about art! Would like more tho: This app is a great way for people to casually connect with art and learn about its context and history. Including the quizzes. Not a burden to subscribe for the extra stuff as you can find art online for free so I didn’t pay for that I’m giving four stars only because I wish to see more modern/postmodern art included in here. Like inst
- [R30] DailyArt Good, but put off my subscription model: I like this app and would like to buy it in order to remove the ads. But there’s only a subscription option where I have to make regular payments. So I’ll stick with the free version. Shame for everyone.
- [R63] Google Arts & Culture AI features are a miss: I think this app is a great resource in general for art fans. But these AI features being pushed upon the user base are a huge turn off. Why would a fan of visual art, likely an artist themselves, want to listen to an AI character podcasting about Starry Night? I think the AI audio stuff is downright useful in Notebook LM, but here? Just feels like a devaluing of human expr
- [R93] Google Arts & Culture Does not always work on ipad: Does not let me scroll through articles. Today it’s not working well with the extinct birds. Has wrong description for bird I am viewing. Description belongs to previously viewed bird. Also stays on same view when I try to scroll. App support won’t let me in to report this!
