It now is 5-15 minutes behind real time. We had a nearby tornado a couple mornings ago and I was unable to track it because of the lag in the radar. Had to find a new app.

This was not the case a few years ago when I first started using their app. I find myself more and more moving to the WVTM app which does not seem to deploy the same tactic for ads. Love WBRC newscast just not their weather app. Do better WBRC!

[R66] WBRC First Alert Weather 3/5 · US “Weather update”Notifications: I am tired , once again, of this app waking me up to tell me that there is a weather update in the app. Geesh, wake me up if a F5 tornado is barreling down on me but I have looked everywhere in the app to find where to turn that annoying announcement off. Can’t find, so I deleted the app this morning.
