8. [R2] 2/5 · US Inaccurate many times: I’ve used WSB primarily for years to get weather information. It seems as though the weather alerts are not as accurate as they used to be. Putting in location for more specific prediction doesn’t seem to make a difference. Predictions often don’t occur. Weather is unpredictable, but with today’s technology it should be easier and more accurate to be more correct.

10. [R6] 2/5 · US Radar?: Why did they think changing the radar was a good thing? It is no longer helpful in what is coming or the severity of it ! Radar looks like an older version that no one thought to use until now. Hate it.

It now is 5-15 minutes behind real time. We had a nearby tornado a couple mornings ago and I was unable to track it because of the lag in the radar. Had to find a new app.

I consistently get warned of precipitation, thunder, or other occurrences about 20-30 minutes after it’s occurred. This could be a life or death situation if someone was depending on this for tornado warnings. Please with on this.
14. [R17] 1/5 · US Lightning notifications slow: The lightning detection notification is hours behind. It used to be helpful, now it’s worthless and annoying to get a notification about lightning in my area hours after it actually happened and when there are currently no storms in the area.

This update took this ability away. Guess I will have to start depending on the Weather Channel app which still has this radar ability.

There are far too many relatively useless alerts telling me that it will start raining in 3 minutes somewhere in my city, or lighting struck 8 miles from my city, which might be 30 miles from me. Tell me about hurricanes, tornadoes, high wind. Don’t tell me when it might sprinkle. I’m deleting the app now.

I have WSB 3 emails and this is my second review here. No response from any one. Delete again. Use to enjoy app. I travel will my job. Follows me every city I go to for the weather. Last few months Andover Maryland shows up as location. Never been there.

Andover comes up, I have to go under location and delete the city. I am no where near that city. Have been in North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Connecticut and Andover always shows up. What is the problem with this?

I don’t open the app much, but I leave it to run when not in use for severe weather alerts, and it has pushed me over my data plan limit several times. 34. [R42] 1/5 · US Playback slider issues: The play back slider is at the bottom of the screen and is difficult to scroll to a particular portion of the weather video. It sits on top of the iPhone’s multitasking bar. When I try to scrub through a video to rewind, it interacts with the multitasking bar and replays the video from the start and makes me sit through advertisements all over again. Very annoying.

I have deleted, reinstalled, loc server on, and still seeing an inaccurate map. Has been going on for a while. Used to be very reliable but now it is not. 40. [R25] 1/5 · US Warning issues: Have it set to alert for tornado warnings and the last 3 times there’s been active tornado warnings in my area my app hasn’t gone off. Luckily I had my tv on, or I wouldn’t have known. One was close enough that I could hear the train sound from the wind, no thunder just rain and a tornado. No warning on my phone. Please fix these issues.
