Pick Google Chrome if you prioritize a fast, efficient, and secure web browser for general browsing and information gathering . It's also suitable if you prefer a browser that syncs across devices, despite occasional freezing issues .
Evidence note: Both apps are free to download, which means some negative reviews might stem from free-tier limitations or general user expectations for free services. The recent negative sentiment for both apps is heavily influenced by unwanted AI integration and UI changes.

- [R1] Google Drive Update sucks: I hate this update. It makes my job infinitely harder. When I get receipts from employees I need to move them to another folder once they are recorded and there is no way to do that now without multiple new steps. Please put the option to move files back where it was.
- [R8] Google Drive Great app: I use this app for uploading stuff basically on VR it takes too long to download to my phone so I just use Google Drive to upload the photos onto Google Drive and download them from my phone. It’s way easier and faster. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
- [R14] Google Drive Good for vr content: It’s really good if you wanna post VR content all you gotta do is just have the app on VR and on your mobile or whatever device that you do it you just explode it on your the Google Drive and then on your mobile you can check it and then download it to your Photos and edit it and post it
- [R15] Google Drive Hard to navigate: I have a hard time sharing files with this app.
- [R2] Google Drive Super easy to use: Such a great user experience, so easy to use
- [R6] Google Drive App: Interface is a bit laggy and doesn’t have legend have drive viewers.
- [R7] Google Drive Constant AI assistant interruption: I don’t want the constant AI assistant pop up that interrupts my work and takes up half the screen. I have to X out or say no thanks constantly. I do not need AI to summarize a document I am clearly able to see and read myself. Also, why is it that now when I open a PDF, all of the background workspace is visible and the X and next buttons are clear bubbles I ca
- [R12] Google Drive Jason plat: 3.53.5 I think it’s a pretty good platform. I think that it should be more user-friendly, especially for the elderly or the older generation who new to Tech sometimes I see my grandfather have to struggle and some of my patients and I wish there was a better platform or a walk-through to help them. there’s a few quick ideas that I have that would help them that I have tried to implemen
- [R9] Google Drive Business made easy: It made my job a whole lot better and fast. My business is at ease now
- [R10] Google Drive Backup broken: The backup link is broken. All it does is present another login screen, and then immediately directs you to a signup page for Google One with no explanation and no exit.
- [R17] Google Drive Google Drive review A+: Always user friendly and consistent
- [R24] Google Drive Not Synced.: I’ve always got no idea what account something is saved on; it should just pull all downloads from the device.
- [R34] Google Drive Summarize this file: Get rid of it. How annoying on each and every file. Ridiculous.
- [R43] Google Drive Please remove gemini: Hi google, I clicked no thanks for gemini, but I keep getting pop- ups on every single image asking me if I want to summarize this file. I don’t, ever. Please remove every pop-up and hide the gemini icon from the main view because now I associate that sparkle icon with the aggravating pop-ups
- [R67] Google Chrome New Update: This new update is infuriating. I don’t want Gemini at the bottom of my page, or anywhere near me. I don’t want the search and tabs bars to be disjointed. The fact we cannot return Chrome to how it was before the update, or remove Gemini from our bar!, is awful. Please give us the option to return back to the previous version of Chrome.
- [R13] Google Drive It has so less storage: It really does have really low storage
- [R22] Google Drive Nearly HALF a GIGABYTE and bloating… 🚨🚨: Just one of many self-inflicted Google apps that have no regard for end-users’ storage and bandwidth limitations. 420.4 megabytes and growing… Uninstall. Divest from Google.
- [R28] Google Drive Cannot erase once downloaded! Takes space!: Does not have an “erase” button or “I dont want that file anymore”. All files I have are NOT IN USE, and it is impossible to delete them. Will keep looking!
- [R52] Google Drive I can’t delete files I don’t need anymore: Annoying
- [R18] Google Drive Update: It is now difficult to navigate
- [R26] Google Drive Amazing: Organized and convenient
