- [R2] My Epic Helpful: This app shows me the best time for when I should go to the mountain. By saying the snow fall and what’s open. 🥹
- [R5] My Epic Epic has been one of the only joys to my life: Epic makes my life so easier to go skiing and that’s my favorite thing. The app helps me know what trails to go on before I go on the mountains and shows me cool ideas to go for ski checks.
- [R7] My Epic Poor functionality: Add a mileage tracker and a GPS speedometer, add a stay logged in option, I’m sick of having to log back in constantly. Make the facial recognition option actually work. This app is useless. I use a separate ski app because this one is no good.
- [R9] My Epic GPS Tracking: The app is easy to use. The GPS tracking is limited. It does not report your max or average speed. The distance appears to include the lift ride. It also doesn’t track the total time on the hills.
- [R4] My Epic Shameful that this app is so bad: Vail resorts has had plenty of time to improve this app yet from the beginning to the current version it continues to be the worst app of any major entertainment out outdoor activity skiing biking app
- [R6] My Epic UI confusion: At the prompt: “Let’s unlock the stoke for your season”, it was not obvious to me that you needed to slide the lock. I thought I needed to type something in the field. I reinstalled the app to try to fix it! Suggestion: remove the useless lock-slide screen; I already logged in to get to it!
- [R10] My Epic App: Terrible interface. Password doesn’t hold and then takes for forever to verify.
- [R12] My Epic Could use some work (Heavenly): Wait times are incorrect on the app especially for the horrible Gondola line at Heavenly Village. Over an hour and half wait. To make matters worse the ingress and egress to the mountain on the shuttle and in an uber is horrible as well.
- [R14] My Epic Love this!: So convenient to check out what runs are open in my favorite resorts.
- [R17] My Epic Thanks for your service: Epic really knows how to say, “Thank you for your service.” The discount is such that it doesn’t take much to get my money’s worth. Thanks to you, Epic.
- [R20] My Epic Vail Resident: I would like to see a east vail and west vail home owner discount. If you actually live in the vail city area that we get a discount on Epic pass . I would also like to see maybe something similar for the higher end restaurants, shops, and hotels around vail village and lions head that stay open in the summer months. I know we support them all year round be great to get a discount ev
- [R23] My Epic Ease of Use: My Epic pass worked across the country with such ease of use at partner resorts. I loved the maps and updates features as well. Last year I had to cancel due to health conditions and the helpful and understanding staff I was able to get a full refund. This 25/26 season has been wonderful and I’m glad to be back!
- [R1] My Epic Pay me if you want me to do your marketing research for you: It’s so lame that you force paying customers to do your market research Pay me or stop asking me to do your job
- [R13] My Epic Annoying to buy an epic pass: When trying to buy the epic pass, it doesn't work in the website or app, and you have to call in to purchase it.
- [R19] My Epic Ignores Settings to Send Ads: Even after disabling marketing motivations, this app continues to send advertisements as banner notifications. Had to completely disable notifications from iPhone Settings to get rid of near daily ads.
- [R22] My Epic Garbage: This app completely sucks. It wouldn’t let me link my pass to my pre-existing account with all of my stats on it. The only option was to make a new one to get the pass but I couldn’t use the same phone number twice. I tried deleting my old account but they wouldn’t even let me do that 🤣. I submitted a request to delete the account and it never came through to delete. Get a grip epic I wan
- [R18] My Epic Okay for nav, not great at tracking: Always had high hopes for this app to be better than Ikon but no such luck. Oh well - something to work on. Tracking not so good; often times doesn’t log my distance or location.
- [R29] My Epic Skier: Great app. Easy to access ski lift tickets, tracks stats, and gives advice for skiing. Extremely helpful for beginners but great for Intermediate and Pro too! So thankful for this app
- [R61] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report Wildly innacurate: Will say 11+ inches when the resort itself is predicting 3 inches. ?? Unreliable, better off with other sources
- [R67] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report What is going on with the accuracy: The info provided in the app is inaccurate. Doesn’t make it very useful if I have to double check everything using other weather tools and cross check on individual resort websites.
- [R75] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report Inaccurate Forecasting: The forecasting was consistently significantly off from what was predicted, despite other apps having the same data but more accuracy.
- [R84] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report Half the time the reported snow numbers are wrong: The main point of this app is to keep track of snowfall at your favorite resorts to help you decide where to ski. It works decent and I still use it but I wonder how they get their data? Often the reported snow numbers are vastly different from the resorts reported snowfall. My local hill reported 12” yesterday and On the Snow reported 0”. Dis
- [R21] My Epic Works but annoying: Does the app developer or Vail marketing even know what skiing is?? Why does the app wipe out my login credentials every two weeks or so?? This is so asinine, my banks don’t even do this. This app is horrible with fingerprint login. And if you can’t remember your password, the app locks you out after a few tries. When the app works it’s fun. When it doesn’t, I want to throw m
- [R25] My Epic Kicked out: If I don't use the app for a week or more it makes you sign back in--- this is an annoying problem with an app that shouldn't be that hard to navigate.
- [R66] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report Work well, but spams: Dos what you want it to do. Gives you a succinct view of conditions at your resorts. Will send you spam notifications though.
- [R82] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report Ad implementation is an abomination that makes the app unusable: Used to enjoy and rely on this app, but it’s now FREQUENTLY opening ads in Safari, seemingly at random. I understand being ad supported, but this crosses a line into outright user hostile.
- [R85] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report Great app but annoying bug made it unusable: This has been my go-to app for monitoring snow conditions across several ski resorts in the US and around the world. However, as of the last update, I now get a browser pop up every single time I try to interact with a resort’s page. I hope this gets fixed but until then, use something else.
- [R102] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report Constant pop ups: Great app, absolutely love it and use it every day during the season. However! Last update beginning of this year is causing a web browser pop up every time I change between option in the dashboard eg if I want to click I. Another tab within a resort it immediately opens a pop up. This is awful. Incredibly annoying. I have reinstalled the app several times and it’s not resolved.
