  1. [R5] MyFitnessPal 5/5 · US Long term use: I’ve been using this app for almost 14 years, it is still has the best, most accurate nutrition data base. I like having my historic tracking data for reference.
  2. [R70] Lose It! 1/5 · US Free version used to be good: Lose it was a great app until the company got greedy. They began taking all the features you could use for free for years and transitioning them to the paid only. The best feature was being able to scan barcodes. This is no longer an option for free users and it definitely takes the app from perfect to trash.
  3. [R62] Lose It! 5/5 · US The RIGHT weight loss app: I have successfully lost weight on this app a couple times and seems to be the only way I can stay on track. I recommend it to all my friends.
  4. [R74] Lose It! 5/5 · US Great calorie counter: I paid for the premium version and I have been paying for it for almost 3 years now. It’s super intuitive, doesn’t have any clutter, and it’s pretty easy to use. I’ve lost north of 20 pounds using it.
  5. [R12] MyFitnessPal 3/5 · US Bad update - early June: I’ve been using MyFitnessPal for about two years, but the recent layout changes have made the app difficult to use. The interface is no longer intuitive, and I find myself spending extra time just trying to log my meals, when I’m already unmotivated to log my calories. Because of this, I would no longer recommend the app to others. One major issue is how meals are display
  6. [R19] MyFitnessPal 2/5 · US Was Better Before Update: I have used this app for years. It was much better prior to the recent update. The “home screen” used to give charts with your macros and calories, but that’s no longer the case. It also used to show all of your foods that had been logged for the day, also no longer the case. It is much less intuitive now.
  7. [R63] Lose It! 3/5 · US Bummed with new UI: I use this over my fitness pal because of the simplicity and flexibility of the entries. New UI makes it harder to see what you need to see and now I find myself in long scrolls to enter in the grams instead of just being able to type the number.
  8. [R113] Lose It! 4/5 · US Like the layout: I find Lose It better for the phone than MFP and easier to navigate. Wish the entries were better updated for accuracy but it serves the purpose of tracking and accountability. Hate that some of the features that used to be free now require subscription but discounts are offered often and the 70% off is a good deal. That should be the regular price.
  9. [R9] MyFitnessPal 3/5 · US Buggy: This app used to be amazing and still should be. Unfortunately, it’s become quite buggy lately and it has prevented me from logging on several occasions.
  10. [R61] Lose It! 1/5 · US New update just freezing: Every time I try to edit or delete an item from yesterday’s meals, the whole thing freezes for 10+ seconds (or entirely). Lose It! has had lagging problems for several years (as a long-time paid user), but this makes it unusable.
  11. [R78] Lose It! 3/5 · US Pretty good: The software is extremely slow if you try to go back and check previous days food intake or when you try to go back to a previous days meal to duplicate a meal. It stalls for a long periods of time.
  12. [R81] Lose It! 3/5 · US Good for tracking but..: This app is great for tracking food and I like that there are most products in it but it’s very glitchy and I have to close out and go back in often. Not sure if premium is better but I don’t want to pay for upgraded features if it will still glitch out.
  13. [R28] MyFitnessPal 1/5 · US Requires money to show net carbs: Including dietary fiber in total carbs is misleading. The carb total shown is useless if it is not net carbs, for those who care about carbs.
  14. [R100] Lose It! 2/5 · US Ridiculously Overpriced: I used to love this app, but the fact that their yearly subscription doubled in price (used to be $39.99, is now $79.99) over the course of ONE YEAR for pretty much the same service is absolutely absurd. I’ll be taking my business over to other apps that do the same things for free.
  15. [R88] Lose It! 2/5 · US Premium still gives you Ads..: This is a pretty good AP that has a database about on par with my fitness pal. It’s pretty accurate and even has a lifetime subscription plan where you don’t have to pay again, and if you wait for their sales it can be a really good deal. The issue I have with this is after I paid for such plan, I see an ad for Ro, a GLP-1 medication service, as soon as I open the ap
  16. [R52] MyFitnessPal 1/5 · US Horrible support: I have an annual subscription. During the update, the app signed me out and I can’t log in for almost 2 weeks now. The support responds only every 3-4 days and when they do, they can’t find my account despite of screenshots of my subscription shared, my log in info etc.
  17. [R71] Lose It! 5/5 · US Stellar Support: I have been using LoseIt! and absolutely love it. I recently ran into an issue, self-inflicted, where only my iPhone had historical data - the rest had data as of last week. I give the support team highest marks. It took a while to diagnose and then fix, but we got there. They kept me in the loop and communications were clear. I now have all platforms, iPhone, iPad and web synce
  18. [R115] Lose It! 1/5 · US What support?: How do you get support? My app keeps overlaying a blank screen on itself. Have to force quit to use the app after this happens. No support to contact. Wish I hadn’t paid fire this.
