Chipotle vs Crumbl
Crumbl is the clear winner due to its highly praised user experience and consistent product quality, while Chipotle struggles with significant app functionality issues, particularly with its rewards system.
Chipotle's app is plagued by persistent issues with its rewards system, payment processing, and order accuracy, despite users enjoying the food. Crumbl, on the other hand, receives overwhelmingly positive feedback for its delicious cookies, easy-to-use app, and generally smooth ordering experience.
Head to head
you prioritize the convenience of re-ordering your favorite Chipotle meals and are willing to contend with potential app glitches and a frustrating rewards system R8.
Evidence note: The evidence for Crumbl is overwhelmingly positive regarding user experience and product quality, with very few negative reviews about the app's core functionality. Chipotle, despite having many positive reviews about its food, has a significant number of negative reviews specifically detailing app issues.

- [R6] Chipotle Mostly good and appreciate re-order option: Like several things about app and the re-order feature is most helpful. It can be hard to make things GF and request corn tortillas on app and no matter if I spend $15 or $49 it never applies the free quest or “promotion” offers. That part is a scam
- [R8] Chipotle Consistency: I was originally going to order on Panda Express app, but it was glitchy and I didn’t have time to order inside the restaurant. I opened up the Chipotle app and hit the re-order button and was able to get my order ready on time.
- [R9] Chipotle Dressing: Why isn’t there an option to add salad dressing to your regular bowl. I love the salad dressing, but I don’t always want all the extra lettuce especially when I usually only eat half and heat it the next day. Reheated lettuce is yucky.
- [R21] Chipotle Forcing App Usage: It behooves me why an item like the quesadilla cannot be ordered in store
- [R1] Chipotle Can’t redeem rewards: It’s hard to give an app a good rating when I can’t redeem my rewards. Free chips with a purchase of $5 or more, my order was $20 couldn’t redeem the chips same issue with a free drink. What a joke
- [R3] Chipotle addicting food, bad reward system: not a big fan of the rewards system it pisses me off but it is good food tho
- [R4] Chipotle BS free chips and guac: You offer free chips and guac with $5 order I ordered $10 and you say requirements not met don't offer if you aren't going to honor it
- [R7] Chipotle Reward didn’t work: App would not let me use my free queso with a $5.00 minimum purchase. My total was $15.00! Reward expires tomorrow!!
- [R10] Chipotle App is buggy: App is super buggy and they try to give free promos but won’t let you apply to the order
- [R2] Chipotle My rate: Top #3 food places of all no doubt.
- [R13] Chipotle Drastically Late: Second time we’ve ordered for the office, first time they were drastically late, we gave the benefit of the dought. Order today and again it was drastically late and no way to contact the store to check see what’s happening. Called 1-800-Chipotle and it is a Medicare number. Tried reaching my email and the chat bot offered a drink and closed chat, no way to stress concern or requ
- [R16] Chipotle worst app ever: switch out points for rewards and they don’t let you use them on the app, get a bday reward and they don’t let you use them on the app. this app sucks!! how is it possible my reward doesn’t meet qualifications because “it has to be over $5” when my order is $19!!!!? make it make sense. and the ai bot doesn’t help either. i have 2 rewards and i can’t use either of them😂😂
- [R19] Chipotle Rewards themselves for messed up orders: Twice now within the past few times I’ve ordered, chipotle has not included ingredients that I paid extra for, and rather than refunding the cost of the ingredient or the whole order entirely, which is what should reasonably happen, it gives me a free side of guac to be used as a coupon. This is especially annoying considering the coupon EXPIRES. Rather tha
- [R24] Chipotle Missing items: whenever i get things delivered and things are missing when i order through the app i don’t get refunded or anything back for them i just lose money everytime
- [R12] Chipotle Can’t use rewards: Overall the app is great. The problem is that there will be promo offers that require a $5 minimum purchase, but a $10 or $15 purchase still shows as an ineligible purchase.
- [R62] Crumbl Bestest sweet treats💗: 10/10! Easy, convenient, delicious
- [R76] Crumbl Convenient: Easy and convenient
- [R88] Crumbl Easy to use: We love a non complicated dessert app
- [R95] Crumbl Crumbl: It’s super easy to use!
- [R15] Chipotle Location Issues: There are other competing food apps out that that do a much better job of preventing you from placing an order at the wrong location. I feel like Chipotle doesn’t try that hard…and they require you to provide a new order number at the correct location before they will even give you your money back …. if they had a better location service they would never have to dish out refunds
- [R22] Chipotle Never order to pickup they constantly have delays will be faster in person: Don’t order
