- [R2] Documents (Office Docs) Simple design: Easy to use, easy to copy and paste. Not very many options but print friendly and straight to the point comes in handy when you have to make a simple document. No problems yet.
- [R5] Documents (Office Docs) Good app: Great reliable app, despite some very few ads. My only issues with this app is that their is no Undo button, and no word search bar. Still a great free alternative tho. I’ve never had any issues saving my documents or really with any of the features in this app.
- [R8] Documents (Office Docs) Convenient: Very convenient to have all my documents available on laptop, iPad, and android.
- [R18] Documents (Office Docs) Formatting: Thank you for the app. I easily typed the document but after saving it and reopening it, the formatting had changed. Very frustrating but still appreciative of a free word processor.
- [R7] Documents (Office Docs) Poor performer: Handy for what it does. It is convenient to write plain short text notes to yourself. But the advertising is very intrusive (and actually fraudulent mostly. No: my account is not hacked. No: I do not have 74 viruses). This is extremely annoying when it grabs your full screen. Alps, sending your files elsewhere mostly just doesn’t work.
- [R10] Documents (Office Docs) Doesn’t allow to open local files: I was not able to figure out how to open a file from Downloads folder. Browse menu loaded some adult dating site.
- [R13] Documents (Office Docs) DON’T DOWNLOAD IT… ADS COVER THE START PAGE!!!! I’m having to figure how to get rid of it!!!!!!: Please update this app. I have so many documents in it, but it will not open most of them when saved….. Wha up wid dat?
- [R16] Documents (Office Docs) Where the heck did THAT file go?: Sometimes a file is there & other times it’s gone. I’m tired of losing stuff. I have several photos in Documents. I can open one but once it’s open I can’t get to the next photo. It seems the App writers felt I’d never want to see any other., And I understand that free Apps will have ads, but I get pop ups that I can’t Exit from. The only option is to “get“ it. A
- [R21] Documents (Office Docs) Documents: This has been a great program for many years. But with iOS 18 it has caused considerable trouble. It randomly turns itself off when correcting or adding to a file. Very disheartening. ☹️
- [R3] Documents (Office Docs) Decent but too many ads.: Way back when I first started using this, it was great for what I needed to do with it. Also the ads were not as bad. But now it is just constant ads that pop up. Load the app = ad. Get a notification from another app that you have to respond to = ad. Exit a document = ad. Just ads on ads for almost every interaction and I suspect it will only get worse as time goes on.
- [R4] Documents (Office Docs) Stuck on ad: The app seems to be stuck on the ad page and now I can’t get to my documents!
- [R12] Documents (Office Docs) Ads: Wish there was a way to remove ads. Lien pay for a version with no ads. Ads open up and won’t go away no matter what making app not functional
- [R37] Documents (Office Docs) Issue resolved: I had (for the second time) an issue whereby the pop up ads for all advertisers on my iPad wouldn’t go away, making it impossible to ever get to the documents. But it looks like it might’ve only been an issue with one advertisement, as there is now an X to close other ads.
- [R61] Quip Retired: They’re retiring this service. Take it off!
- [R1] Documents (Office Docs) documents: Sucks pretty bad today. Won’t let me open my documents unless I click on ads. I have things to do. Stop interrupting my day.
- [R6] Documents (Office Docs) Does Not Work 9-30-25: ZERO Stars! This app Does Not Work or function properly. Documents are overridden with marketing advertisements. Too glitchy don’t waste your time. Find a Word document app that works if I could rate a ZERO star I would but it will not post it publicly. 9-30-25
- [R64] Quip Crashes constantly: I like the problems its solves, but is highly unstable in app form.
- [R73] Quip Constantly crashes: I love the Quip mobile app when it works, as it allows me to access work-related documents on my phone. However, more often than not it is infuriating and essentially unusable because it crashes after a few seconds every time I open it. To be precise, the app suddenly backgrounds itself but appears to still be running.
- [R75] Quip Crashes constantly: I use this on at work all the time and it’s great, but the app crashes and disappears every time I load a doc on my phone.
- [R76] Quip Frequent Crashes: Quip is usually great, but the past few weeks it’s been crashing constantly when viewing documents. It’s unusable right now.
- [R63] Quip Slow, hard to use on iPad, does not keep my login.: Every time it needs me to log in, and the sign in experience is so laggy and slow that it makes it a PITA to open a document. Also the software meaningfully lags when the doc is big. Mediocre.
- [R67] Quip Always logging in…: Why oh why do I have to log in every time I open the app, then go back and click on the link to the document I want to view as the app just opened the prior one, not the one I want to view now. Ugh. It’s the little things that are bothersome.
- [R69] Quip Need to login every time I open it: It is very annoying that the app requires logging in every a few days
- [R70] Quip Bleh: Always have to login from scratch…limited functionality
