- [R3] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker Needs major upgrades: There is no autocorrect in this app! Makes it difficult to document your exercise.
- [R5] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker Tracking progress: This app is great for tracking distance, time, location, and progress. I would tell anyone who is just starting to workout to use this app. It will help keep your focus on the end goal.
- [R11] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker Proposed update: Love this app and I really appreciate the 15 second timer that’s been added! When I walk my dogs, I need a few seconds to get out of the house and my hands are full… A new proposed change is the ability to go backwards and slice off a piece of the walk… sometimes I forget and I jump in the car because I’ve taken them for a walk at a park… I would like the ability to go back and st
- [R24] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker Changes: I find the App difficult to personalise
- [R6] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker It’s okay: It's okay. It would work better if the creator moved the “pause” button so that, as I’m swiping up, it doesn't inadvertently select pause, and I find out later that the last bit of my workout wasn't recorded.
- [R21] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker Could be better: Counterintuitive controls, inaccurate distance measurement. Meh.
- [R26] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker Thank You MMR: Love this simple, reliable tracker. It’s a great motivator and it is fun to look back over time and see my movement patterns and watch my miles stack up.
- [R33] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker Nice walk: Spoiled by constant reminders of exercise paused exercise resumed presumably by phone being on a pocket and pocket dialling
- [R1] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker Miscalculated distance: This stupid app showed me zigzagging through a wooded area when I was on the side the whole time. Ended up adding 0.5 miles to my run. Worthless and deleted
- [R9] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker Sometimes freezes and you gotta quit the app: Sometimes you gotta close out and go back in so I wouldn’t be super strict on trying the get an exact time. Give or take 20 seconds
- [R10] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker Stopped working: My app no longer tracks the length of my runs or the pace.
- [R4] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker Must You?: I love Map My Run EXCEPT at the end of a long, timed run, or at the end of a race when right after pause/hold to finish AN AD POPS UP AND BLOCKS MY TIME. Please stop that.
- [R14] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker Perfect FREE running app for beginners: 1st I want to say this app IS free to use, ofc there are memberships and promotions to higher status and upgraded tools.. BUT it does track your runs, routes, times, and progress through out your time using the platform. You do have to exit out of a million ads to use it at first (there’s at most two) but that’s to be expected from a free app! 2.) this app
- [R25] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker Kill ads on the free version: Love your app I’ve been using it for years, but you seriously need to kill the ads and the prompts to upgrade on the free version. Anyone using your free app has already allowed you to track all of their metrication data runs walks speed pace, weather frequency That’s enough stop prompting me to upgrade every time I use the app and ads when I try to start a run
- [R32] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker 😊: Very good you dont have to pay to use it!!
- [R55] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker Very concerned about their data policies - and you should be, too: Mapmyrun appears to have sold out my data. I use a private rely on my email, and the unique email address I used to sign up for this app is now receiving literal bitcoin phishing emails. The only entity who had this email address was Map My Run. Who knows what they’re doing with even more sensitive data about where I go, etc.
- [R61] Strava Good luck canceling: Tried the free trial, wasn’t my thing. Tried to cancel account and had no luck accessing subscriptions. Went to check the status email and it had generated a random email that I don’t have access too. Charged 79.99 and unable to cancel. Transparency with subscriptions is how you build trust with customers. Scammy, wouldn’t recommend to my friends.
- [R67] Strava Used to be good.: Recently this app has gone downhill. You cannot get a real person to speak to if you’re having issues with the app. Recently the app does not load. It is just a black screen and an error message that says please try again. The only way to contact user support is a chat bot that doesn’t understand you and can’t help you and when it realizes there is no answer to give you it gives
- [R73] Strava Atrocious customer support!: Their AI bot “Miles” has no ability to solve anything and closes chats with you. There is no way to talk to customer support. Even when the bot says someone will be in touch you just get an email saying they can’t help you. I am a paying subscriber and you are ducking answering any questions or actually helping me with the fact that you are letting another user in a di
- [R47] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker TRACKING: Love the app! I have the free version and I can still enjoy most of the features!
- [R2] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker walking my beagle: Great app as helping me stay on track
- [R15] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker Distance tracking issue: Does not accurately track distances on an indoor running track.
- [R79] Strava No Support!!: I keep trying to upgrade to an annual subscription, and every time I do (AND PAY THE ANNUAL FEE!!) it tells me I need to upgrade still. I have emailed, chatted with support and still haven’t gotten a human response in 6 days. Please do better.
- [R69] Strava Stop with the subscription requests: Holy moly. The app is good but for heavens sake, every prompt I make pulls up a subscription prompt! I don’t need to subscribe… you’re doing too much.
- [R78] Strava The push for payment is annoying: Every time I load a run, I scroll down and see an ad about the subscription showing a completely made up PR. It’s literally making up data that I’m faster than I actually am in an attempt to get me to sign up for premium. It’s so gross, if you’re going to push your subscription on non subscribers constantly, don’t lie about it too. App works great otherwise and
- [R81] Strava Good app, but too much upselling: I’ve used Strava for years, mainly as a training log, but with a little Social boost of seeing what others are doing, and giving/getting a thumbs up. It games the system a little, slightly helping me get out more. But lately it is constantly trying to upsell me. There are some nice extra features with a paid subscription, but these days it seems like it asks me
- [R98] Strava Great tracking: I enjoy Strava but I’ve also been a member long enough where I’ve lost the ability to do things unless I subscribe and that’s a bummer and way too expensive in my opinion.
