Kikoff vs Experian®
For direct credit building, Kikoff has a strong track record of increasing scores for many users, while Experian is better for comprehensive credit monitoring and identity protection.
Kikoff is primarily a credit-building service, with many users reporting significant score increases, though some experience issues with accuracy and customer service. Experian, a major credit bureau, offers detailed credit monitoring, identity theft protection, and tools to help build credit, but some users report app glitches and customer service difficulties.

- [R2] Kikoff Happy: I do not regret signing up with Kikoff I have a 639 credit score thanks to u all so quick 😍
- [R8] Kikoff Great app: Helloed raise my credit score by 200 points and still climbing. Have been recommending this app to everyone to help build their credit score. It has multiple features that come in handy with the 3000 dollar plan. It’s helped remove my information from sites from data leaks
- [R13] Kikoff kikoff review: i like this app it has successfully raised my score significantly from a 4 20 something to now a six o 9
- [R14] Kikoff Nightmare: WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT SIGN UP My credit has only gotten worse. I’ve been told by lenders that these type of apps are counted as negative remarks on your credit. They take my money every month and nothing changes. Been paying 2 years now and I just want it to end. Can’t get through to anyone on customer service no matter how many times I try. I’ve cancelled all my Netflix and streami
- [R3] Kikoff Not 100% accurate: I’m writing this in hope that I’m wrong in the future but as for now it shows I’m up 113 my score on KO is 652 on 2 and 618 on 1, but on the actual app for those credit bureaus it’s showing 580 and lower so I’m not 100% sure if it’s just a time issue or what
- [R9] Kikoff Great and easy to use: I love how easy this app is to use. I’ve paid credit repair companies hundreds to do what this app does automatically. My only complaint is that the score it shows is misleading. It does not show the score that mortgage or car lenders pull (which is usually much much lower - 100+ pts lower than what Kikoff shows). But it is still a great tool for credit repair.
- [R38] Kikoff The good and the bad: My credit went up! But I know my credit score doesn’t match what Chase says my score is, and what Chase sees is what matters. It’s like a difference of 20 experian points. Also, I applied for a small loan through their app, and the only thing I got is phone calls every single day.
- [R86] Experian® Great app for monitoring credit score: Great app for tracking my credit score accurately and see my changes within a 30 day window; however it’ll still be great if I could see a break down or scale to strive for when checking things like credit history for example: How would I know what very good looks like versus fair when all I have to go off is a percentage and not a frame of reference to matc
- [R4] Kikoff Keyboard: There’s a issues when I put my number in it won’t let me continue please fix thanks
- [R6] Kikoff Tlux: I’ve been using the app for a few weeks now without issue. I saw there was an update, so I updated, and now it doesn’t work. I was going to delete it and reinstall, but it says i’ll lose all my data. I have money in this app! What can I do?
- [R12] Kikoff Esta aplicación es una mierda no verifica mi identidad: A pesar de tener mi permiso de trabajo y social security no he podido terminar de registrarme
- [R18] Kikoff Fix your app: ya’ll need to fix your app. It’s not working properly.
- [R1] Kikoff Credit builder scam: Don’t do the credit building program they charge high fees and won’t give you your money back if you cancel early and they DO NOT TELL YOU THAT WHEN CANCELLING so I’m out 250$
- [R16] Kikoff Refund: I started a Kikoff account and I was not using the credit card so I requested my money to be returned. They refuse. So this is a big scam
- [R36] Kikoff Billing problems: My statement was due in the 23 I downgraded from the 20 dollar plan to the 5 on the 29 the first of the next month I got charged 20 dollars. But I was downgraded inmediatly to the 5 dolar plan. So to make it quick they charge me 20 dollar for only one week of the plan and they did reduce ni utilization the same 29 when I did the downgrade but STILL charge me the 20 dollars.
- [R7] Kikoff Will hurt you not help: I have spent 2 years rebuilding credit to purchase a house. After all the hard work and effort, I got my scores up and went to apply. Should have been approved, checked every box EXCEPT a late payment report from Kikoff back in January when my card expired. I updated with new card but they still marked it late. Remind you this is not a loan, I receive no money from them, si
- [R10] Kikoff DONT USE THEM!!!: Let me first add that I have never had a delinquent payment lack of payment or any derogatory mark on my credit. I my only negative on my credit is history. I don’t have a long one. I have maybe 5 years worth of credit. So I just wanted to bulk up my credit. Long story short I had to replace my debit card because it was lost. So I never updated this cause I felt like I no longer
- [R27] Kikoff Great for credit building!: I chose to use this service to help increase my credit score because I’m trying to but a house and the positive payment history is very important and it is showing that I have a $2,500 credit line with a small amount owed so that helps my score too! My score increased 41 points in just 6 months:-) It’s worth it if you need to work on your credit for any reason!
- [R49] Kikoff Love it: I’ve been using Kikoff since September 2025 and my score is up almost 100 points! I genuinely cannot believe it. I have the credit line and the credit builder loan they offer. I also opened a secure credit card in February 2026 so that’s also helped.
- [R15] Kikoff Best credit app!: My credit boosted so quickly within just weeks of having this app super worth it I paid for the $35 a month let me tell you so worth it I’ve got approvals for other credit cards because of my credit and my credit has gone from the 500s to almost 700s I’m so pleased with this app worth every penny!! Get it now!!
- [R43] Kikoff it does work!: been looking for a good credit building app and this is the one! 90 points in 30 days! and it’s keeps on climbing. i actually am so grateful, i highly recommend this app.
- [R63] Experian® Okay: The app is OK. I just don’t like the fact that I can’t log into my account. If I decide I don’t wanna continue to pay for the membership anymore. It won’t allow me to login without paying which is ridiculous to me.
- [R64] Experian® Terrible Service, No Humans, any error on their end never gets fixed.: They use an AI agent and have no way of contacting an actual human being. If the issue is on their end it will never be fixed. This has made the app completely useless.
- [R75] Experian® No service: There’s no way for me to sign in and they offer absolutely no help. It always says something is wrong even though I just made it and if I try to sign in my my phone it just doesn’t send the code
- [R77] Experian® Unusable if not paid: I used the free version since 2019. I decided to try out the subscription, and its not worth the $25 a month ($300 a year mind you) there’s no features added. Now, the problem is I went to cancel it, and I cannot open the app without paying $25. There’s no option to cancel. No human support. So I deleted it. And your emails are spam now. Thanks for nothing.
- [R76] Experian® Amazing App: This app is so informative and helpful to understand my credit and it helps me make the best decision in my financial life
- [R105] Experian® How much it cost.: I can’t afford $25 every month to find out my credit score.
