- [R6] Falou Good App, Bad Content: The interface this app is easy and the algorithm works well, but the content is a total mess. The transliteration of some of the Japanese words is in fact Chinese, and many of the sentences (and I mean many) are unidiomatic, ungrammatical, and outright nonsensical. It should not have been released before a rigorous quality assurance on content was made. I regret the purchase
- [R61] Drops Potential: This app does have potential and with a company like kahoot I’m sure they can make the adjustments. My main issue is the translations are wrong and you may not catch it if you are new to a language. This is important because it can cause misunderstanding it a conversation where it may already be hard to understand each other. I did make a note of this in the improvement comment box befo
- [R84] Drops Clever Interface, Lacks Depth: I speak five languages and have a PhD in English, so really wanted to love Drops and even purchased a lifetime subscription. Unfortunately, this app fails to deliver its full potential, especially for the price. PROS: Drops offers a clever way to sustain immersion while leveraging the power of spaced repetition, which promotes long-term retention of vocabulary. The
- [R18] Falou Good but slow: i love this app so far but sometime I would say the sentence and it would take a whole 5-10 sec before it registered it and accept it making it very frustrating because i don’t know if i did something wrong or if the app is just very slow. But otherwise I’m learning word in a very fun and easy to remember way.
- [R73] Drops Great until the last update: I’ve been a multi-year user and use the app every day. Since the last major update, it’s become significantly harder to navigate. The new folder structure has made it difficult to see what I’m actively working on and what I haven’t completed yet. Topics that were previously visible at a glance are now buried inside categories, and progress feels hidden. Even when I go
- [R120] Drops Excellent and fun but some annoying features: I have been using Drops for a long time to compliment my Japanese studies and it works really well. The graphics are cute and simple helping the words to stick while the basic interface is easy to use. The recent addition of a kanji option is very helpful. Since becoming a premium member I have knocked some stars off my review as I feel there are some
- [R49] Falou Bugs: Fix your bugs. I’m repeating everything it says to me multiple times and it doesn’t register and then says I didn’t say it resulting in a wrong answer. So annoying. Moving on to another app
- [R93] Drops Good training but persistent bugs: The language training is good. There is a substantial vocabulary in a lot of languages. Using the software can be irritating because there are obvious bugs that the authors have not bothered to fix in the years I have been using the product. Worst is if you get logged out, signing back in can be difficult.
- [R102] Drops ???: It’s been great but after the recent update it crashes so that I can’t study any seconds. 😢
- [R14] Falou The best!: it’s really similar to Duolingo, but it’s a little better than Duolingo as well. I learned so much already. This was recommended to me a lot on my TikTok FYP. I recommend this app. This is a really good app. Does it have any ads? You don’t really have to pay for anything? It’s pretty free. five stars!!
- [R75] Drops Free is fine but meh: Not worth the hefty price, and it only took me 318 days to learn everything they offered. Kinda pointless after that. Just do Duolingo.
- [R106] Drops 5 mins for free version: It sucks that I can only used this app for 5 mins a day
- [R22] Falou Zero customer support: I have reached out to support with email and have not received a response in regard to my purchase and what is included.
- [R67] Drops Canceled my permanent membership.. beware: Bought this outright in 2023. They shifted to purely subscription based and told me they couldn’t find any records of my purchase. I sent them the correct email and they said nothing was found. I found my purchase receipt and it was with the email I thought it was. If you had a permanent account, make sure you still have access. They apparently will ask f
- [R100] Drops My premium lifetime paid account disappeared: I have been using drops for over 3 years and had paid for lifetime premium subscription. Today all my info is gone and I am not on premium any more???
- [R9] Falou Duolingo for Greek: This is the same as Duolingo. But Greek. So disappointed 10 chapters in still don’t know basic words like days of week numbers the only meal I can order is steak on a gyro or with bread and lemon or orange. I was hoping it would teach basics first . But I can say the big book is very good. I can’t say where is the bathroom or train station.
- [R78] Drops Reasoning for rating: This app only lets you learn 2 languages at a time. What if I want to learn 3 or maybe even 4. I get why you guys would want us to only learn a small number of languages at a time, but I need to learn 3. Thank you for understanding.
