[R25] 3/5 · US Boston 25 profit centered: first of all advertisements make me leave the app. The ads are too long and exhausting, waiting for the story that’s 2 to 3 sentences long and then say this is an ongoing story and never hear about it again. One of the things I like about channel 25 is the morning people, especially Gene Levanchi.

They force their news alerts on you and turn every little thing into an alert. Sensationalism… typical of Fox. I had hoped Boston25 would be better. Guess not

The headlines and information you’re sending me in this app for breaking stories is not helpful when each and every time you give the bare minimum of information and make users open to read full detailed story to even know the location of where this breaking story is occuring . Interruptions throughout the day not helpful if the news being reported is not even in the local area.

I tend to read the news when I’m sitting somewhere quietly the waiting room at the drs perhaps or along those lines. I find this very annoying and a waste of my time in the morning. If I wanted to SEE the news I’d turn on the TV. Going to find a different way to read the news.

It’s gross. It’s a slap in the face to us in MA. It’s not on brand for Boston 25 at all. I have deleted this app and will not be getting any news from people who bend the knee to authoritarianism.

Sometimes the ads cause the news article that is being pushed to my phone to reload constantly and I have to force quit the app. Even if I mute the add and read the bottom it jumps to the top to load the ad that is failing.
