I also love the fact that I can get the 11 pictures every month for $ 3.99. there are usually so many good ones I end up getting more than my 11 every month.

There’s setting where the admins can modify whether other members could either comment or download/screenshot the pictures. It takes so much stress away from wondering if everyone got to see that one cute picture. Plus the free prints are a sweet touch added!

While sharing photos is awesome, if you want them printed, you’re better off ordering them through your local photo printing place like Walgreens or Walmart.

The amount of ads your hit with is ridiculous. Not just sometimes, every time you open you app you have to close out of ad windows. Would not recommend in its current version.

They recently started sharing - I assume - photos with Anthropic as a footnote in their privacy policy update for “enhanced search”. No thanks.

No QR code is included in the invitation. So, I can’t access anything. I don’t have the time to beta test products. There must be a better app.

The app itself is fine, though it could use a bit more polish and refinement. Update: I do have print offer notifications disabled in settings, the setting does not seem to be honoured. I’ve had to disable all notifications from the app on a system level.

We loved this app for its privacy features, and this just undoes everything we thought it stood for. Sadly, I am canceling my premium account and working on removing four years of photos from Family Album. I will not recommend Family Album to anyone. They’ve truly broken my trust.
