Nurture Pregnancy Week by Week
Nurture Pregnancy Week by Week by Glow, Inc. is worth using for its comprehensive pregnancy tracking and supportive community, but recent updates have introduced significant paywalls and technical issues that diminish its value, especially for premium users.
Nurture by Glow offers detailed pregnancy tracking, daily information, and a large community forum, which many users find helpful for support and learning. However, recent updates have moved essential features behind a paywall, introduced numerous ads even for paid subscribers, and caused significant app instability and navigation issues, leading to widespread user frustration.
Free vs paid
The free version allows users to track pregnancy stages, baby size, and access some articles, along with participation in the community forums R2. However, it is heavily laden with ads R3R42 and limits access to important content and features, often only providing previews of articles R35R145R149. The paid premium version promises an ad-free experience and full access to articles and features R3R35. However, many premium subscribers report still seeing ads R37R46, experiencing glitches R39, and finding that even paid features are basic or poorly implemented R108R131. Some features, like adding a partner, also require the partner to pay for premium separately R108.

You should skip paying for this app if you expect an ad-free experience, reliable functionality, or deep insights for your money, as many premium users report being disappointed R37R46. Also, if you are looking for a pregnancy app with a consistently positive and moderated community, you might want to skip this one due to frequent complaints about bullying, inappropriate content, and lack of moderation R1R3.

- [R35] Eh… It used to be great.: This was a great app until it changed. Its a little hard to navigate now and it limits your access to features and content based on your subscription. You pretty much have a calendar and can ONLY PREVIEW the important stuff. I think the articles should be free to read at least. I deleted my account because of this sudden change!
- [R145] Not the same anymore: When I was pregnant my first two time I was able to read some of the daily articles without payment. Now they make you pay to read any of the articles. It’s a bit sad 😪 as much as I want to read then I am not going to pay all this money for an app I get similar articles on other apps. I’ll be Deleting this one and this use to be my favorite pregnancy app.
- [R149] Very limited Usage if not Premium member: I’ve had this app with my first pregnancy and it was great, but now with my next pregnancy, unless you pay $$ for premium you get very limited access to everything.
- [R22] Eh: Too many benefits are requiring you to pay to be a premium member. I’ve been using the glow apps (nurture, the regular one for period tracking, and the baby app) for years. It used to be so much better with all of the information, resources, etc being FREE. Now they’ve gotten greedy and want you to pay for almost everything the app has to offer. As a long time user, USE A DIFFERENT APP
- [R37] Ads after paying the subscription? Get outta here!: Read above
- [R39] New update: I love this app but and the new look is nice, but it’s super annoying that I can’t go ahead more than a week to see what to expect. I could be missing something but I’m pretty sure I’ve looked everywhere. I also pay for premium and the two pop ups I have to close EVERY time I open the app are pretty annoying. I get showing me the offer once.. but once I close it I’m probably not intere
- [R46] Still have ads on paid version: I generally enjoy the app. A lot of the articles are redundant. I consistently get ads when I open the app. It’s usually 1 or 2 ads that I have to close before I can get to the app. Pretty annoying. I paid for an ad free experience. I would just stick to the free version, I barely notice the difference.
- [R55] Good but could be better: I think I would love this app if it was the pricing was explained better, I don’t understand if I read an article and am only allowed to read 15% of it do I pay 99p just to read the remaining 85% of that article?? As £3.99 per month is a bit steep!
- [R131] Not Worth It: I paid for premium in hopes it would truly provide more insight. It doesn’t. You can put it anything and it will just say “you are feeling out of sorts” like ok I know but give me details on fatigue, frequent urination, headaches, etc specifically. I want to know specifically other moms feeling fatigue, not that we’re all out of it but they’re tired while I’m peeing all the time? It’
- [R108] Good, but could do better: I like using this app for insights and such during my current pregnancy. However, you have to pay for premium in order to view them. I thought it was awesome that you could add your partner to the app to join along until I discovered that my husband would also have to pay for premium to see the things I’m logging. I think it’s absurd that even though I’m paying for a sub
- [R239] Do not sign up for premium!!: In purchasing the premium content I unknowingly made a “lifetime” subscription which the glow app team REFUSE to cancel or cease. It seems I will be paying for the rubbish extra content indefinitely long after having finished my pregnancy!! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.
- [R2] Super informative: Love it! Used this app for my first and now back for my second. The groups and threads really helped me when I was a first time mom. Love this app, it has been a map for me through motherhood
- [R9] Love it!: I love the Glow apps! I love Nurture because not only does it provide a guideline to walk along during pregnancy, but it reminds me that self care is super important. Note: Provide/add a “Diary” feature!
- [R16] Loving it: Love this app. Tells you everything you need to know about you baby
- [R23] Nurture App: This app is amazing to be able to track my pregnancy. I love the information given especially on the growth of my baby.
- [R11] An amazing place to get support and learn about your body: So incredible, it’s full of support, you can fill out your symptoms each day and it’ll give you articles to read based off that.
- [R17] New user: So far I love it! Lots of informative blogs and information from other real persons. Wish this existed with all my past pregnancies.
- [R18] Fantastic App: This app is so helpful in every stage of pregnancy! Answers so many questions and the community is amazing!
- [R27] I genuinely love this app!!: It gives you so many details about your journey through pregnancy it also helps you make a registry it’s so easy to set up
- [R70] Great app: Really good for keeping track of fetal development and any pregnancy symptoms. For me it was a bit too American as I live in the UK
- [R72] Amazing!: Amazing apps for periods and pregnancy which sync together. Very conveninant, especially if you don’t like to keep track of things yourself.
- [R10] Love this app: Been using this app for years and i love it
- [R13] Bets pregnancy app out: This is by far the best pregnancy app out I really love it. I use the regular glow app to track ovulation and fertility for the last three months and I most definitely love it and I can say that you may have a lead to so that's why I got the glow pregnancy app.... like I say it's one of the best out
- [R44] Great app: Makes everything that much easier
- [R48] ease of use: from tracking a period, trying to get pregnant and being pregnant. it’s made things so easy and reliable. having a community and article about everything is so comforting
- [R3] Use a different pregnancy app: This app is horrible with ads if you don’t pay for premium membership. The “community” pages are absolutely horrendous. Literally, a bunch of liberal, feminist that constantly attack you and other people. There’s no moderation on this app what so ever. Many people posting useless things and things only doctors SHOULD answer. LOL. Pathetic app with pathetic peop
- [R1] Think before you post: If you want to feel more nauseous while pregnant, just scroll through the posts. People, please think before you share a picture of yourself vomiting, or your child’s dirty diaper, or your child teething on an amputated umbilical cord. Please.
- [R42] Not what it used to be: I used this app 4 years ago and it was great. I cannot believe how many ads there are now. And then just today when I opened it, “hey we changed our page, let’s take a tour.” And bam they found another way to squeeze in an ad on the dash board.
- [R5] Can't sign up: I can't even sign up for an account! I get as far as my birth date but it won't let me choose my birth date. None of the options will even move. Upsetting because I've heard great things about this app.
- [R8] not working: I have been trying to use this app but every time I try to sign up the app freezes and will not let me enter my birthday. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times but it will not let me get past or even skip the birthday part.
- [R12] Started great, now app doesn’t work: App opens completely blank and can’t figure out how to see anything. Was great on first login, but bummed I lost all my data now 😭
- [R19] Does not register pregnancy loss properly: App does not accurately log pregnancy loss. Has feature to record loss but app continues to update my status based on a pregnancy I lost in 2019. Extremely painful and inaccurate.
