13. [R166] 3/5 · US Barcode Scanner Doesn’t Seem to Work Anymore: This app is an awesome way to catalogue a collection! But at some point in recent months, the barcode scanner just stopped working for any collected editions I tried. It still works for single issues. But that lost scan functionality for hardcovers and trades, and having to manually search and enter books, is a huge negative for me.

I hate this so much. I used to be able to click on a book and then scroll through all the different options for variants. Now I get a white screen that locks the entire app. I’ll be uninstalling and going back to the website from now

Never given a warning or even notified of this. Comment was removed and haven’t been able to make a new one sense. Weirdly and quietly agenda pushing for an app supposedly about spreading comic information and “positivity”.

[R61] 2/5 · US Good app but camera scanning does not work at all (test your app): Cover and barcode scanning do not work at all, you just see a black square where the camera feed preview should be. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled multiple times. I’ve rechecked camera permissions as well. It’s a persistent issue that I suspect impacts all iOS devices.

I’ll type something and press search and I get a blank screen or it says “Enter your search query to begin viewing relevant results.” I wait and wait to see if something will pop up, but nothing ever does. When it does work it’s pretty good, easy to find what I’m looking for most of the time

Perhaps this is a problem with so many comics (also needs more) but I hope they can get this fixed. It's the only app that can keep an accurate pull list and that's it's major advantage over others.

Sometimes the search bar doesn’t give uou any results for comics that are 100% listed on the app too. Good idea but bad execution

I finally get through removing them all and they reappear. Update: it looks like there were server issues that now appear to be fixed. The app is much better now.

If you click on an issue in your wishlist, it magically disappears and is removed from your wishlist. Sometimes entire volumes I’ve added to my wishlist just magically vanish out of thin air. Overall an absolute garbage piece of software. At least it’s free.. I guess.

I wish you can magnify the comic covers to look at them and when you try to look at your list and if you got multiple covers and you click on them it makes it where you have to restart the whole app. It also sometimes removes comics of my lists.

This app constantly spreads misinformation about solicits for comics, and will often say that a different writer or artist is working on a specific issue, but a week or so
