Who it's for
This app is for existing Indiana Members Credit Union members who prioritize mobile banking and are willing to navigate potential login and usability challenges R7R14. It might be suitable for those who find the interface easy to use and appreciate features like Face ID R5R22R16. However, users with older phones (iOS < 16.0) or those who rely heavily on accurate real-time balances and mobile check deposits should be cautious R3R11R43.
Evidence note: The recent reviews skew heavily negative, contradicting the lifetime rating. Many users explicitly state that the 'new app' or 'new update' is the source of their problems, indicating a recent decline in satisfaction. The developer's notes mention 'bug fixes' but do not address the widespread issues reported by users, suggesting a disconnect between the update's intent and user experience.

- [R5] App: It’s amazing!
- [R16] Easy peasy: I love the new layout and how easy it is to find transitions and logout.
- [R45] Gorcraft: Easy to navigate & user friendly
- [R54] Easy to use and well organized: Get the app and you will agree.
- [R127] IMCU Mobile App: Easy access and functionality while on the go and don’t have time to run to the ATM or Branch for most all my banking needs. Better know what you’re doing... and Zelle is added to make things really great for myself.
- [R22] Face ID Technology: I like it! Saves steps. What i dont know is can the hackers figure out a way to get past the face recognition? Other than that, its a beautiful thing!
- [R23] Love it: Love the app it’s gives a lot great features a lot things you can do at your own fingertips without having to leave the house. Once you learn it it’s a very great app.
- [R57] Very user friendly: I have been a member of Indiana members credit union since the 90s. I love that there are more branches around Indianapolis & surrounding towns. But when I can’t make it into a branch, the mobile banking is very convenient.
- [R79] Great app!!!!: Thank you for the safety and ease of this banking app
- [R96] Dependable, safe, no so intuitive: As with other banking apps this one has security, dependability and accurate process automation in focus which I appreciate very, very much. With that in mind the app is not the most intuitive. But I can live with that. Especially since IMCU has a great customer service with live people on the line in case you get really stuck.
- [R99] Great security: Really love this app. IMCU really takes security seriously
- [R8] Every time needs to reset password why ???: So annoying app
- [R10] Bad Verification: This app sucks. It takes forever to verify that I’m a human and I’m almost never able to view my checking account. Wish they would fix this
- [R14] Would not recommend: It constantly forgets your username and password on purpose. The app will say it’s for security reasons, but if it makes the app impossible to get into, there’s no use. And the chat function doesn’t work. Does this app do anything right?
- [R42] Changes: I have not been able to log into my account on my phone and never can I chat about the issue I’m having
- [R7] Old version better: I’ve had a terrible time navigating how my money is moving on the new app. Different transactions process and post with no rhyme or reason. Sometimes instantly, sometimes days later. I can’t tell what money I really have to spend. I always thought I had overdraft protection. Apparently I don’t and I have found out the hard way. There are some cool features on here but most impo
- [R26] New app is trash: Terrible. Great example of trying to reinvent the wheel and failing miserably. The old app would be a massive upgrade to this garbage. Any recent positive reviews are most certainly employees trying to squash all the real reviews. Cut your losses and give the people the old app or make this one just like it! Good grief!
- [R27] New update isn’t the best: The new app is very hard to navigate and understand, purchases aren’t tagged accurately and balance doesn’t update
- [R28] Horrible App: Recently IMCU rolled out a new and “improved” app. It’s absolutely the worst app on my phone. Bring back the old one. It’s almost impossible to track my banking activity and the formatting is seriously flawed. I’ve been a member for almost 30 years and this seriously has me thinking about switching everything to another bank.
- [R3] Mobile deposit is dead: Mobile check deposit provides a black screen now. The other features appear to still work, but the important one died.
- [R35] Deposit doesn’t work: Old app great new one states amounts don’t match despite them matching. No time to go to bank. If this is a continuing issue. I’ll change banks. The change to visa caused so much extra work it is hardly worth staying
- [R83] Where did the mobile deposit option go!?!: I use the app all the time and would have rated it higher. But the mobile deposit icon has disappeared and I can’t find the option in the menu. Would like to get that back.
- [R88] Bug.: I have been waiting for 4 months to have zelle transfer and also there are other options that i don't have in my app like deposit and other things. Please fix. I deleted the app and install again but nothing changes.
- [R11] New update: The new update suck. The available balance keep changing!!!!!
- [R21] Bad update: Available balance doesn’t accurately reflect pending transactions, causing you to manually calculate your balance less the pending transactions, which defeats the purpose of having online banking.
- [R37] Functional but not updated: The app no longer takes out pending amount spent. This leaves the user with the obligation of double checking all purposes because the balance looks higher.
- [R4] IMCU evaluation: I love credit unions and have been connected with them for years. Ihave one concern, however. Since the most recent changes for online access, it is very cumbersome to transfer funds between certain accounts. This is not good at all. Everything else is fine.
- [R19] Need balance total on credit card payment option: I’ve noticed when I go to pay my credit card it only gives me minimum balance when I’d like to pay the full amount off at one time. This typically means that if I can’t remember the exact amount, I’m going back-and-forth between screens in order to make a full payoff payment.
- [R34] Missing features in new version: I used to love this app. I had the flexibility to group my accounts and rename them. Now my cds are mixed with my accounts and have useless names like ROTH IRA 5 yr and I can’t find a way to rename them or group what I want together. I understand making improvements, but the cost should not be useful features.
- [R48] No Zelle?: The app is basic and easy to use. However my one complaint is I don’t see an option to use Zelle? Per the Zelle website and what I’ve looked up, IMCU does partner with Zelle but it is no where to be found in my app.
- [R43] Bank requiring new phone from customers: Due to the new upgrade, my phone will not work. I have an IOS of 15.8.5 and this requires 16.0 or later. Not good for older phones by a couple of years.
- [R1] Stop, please: Can you just stop showing me notifications asking me to share the love and IMCU and post a review on Yelp. You are a bank and NOBODY looks for a bank on Yelp.
- [R32] Ads: Stop advertising soccer tickets, etc in app.
- [R78] Too Little Provided To Late: A lot is missing from notifications compared to other banks, credit unions, and credit card companies. It does not give you your balance like you have a balance of $14.67 it just gives you a threshold met like less than $150.00 in your account. It does not notify you who made a withdrawal or a deposit it just gives you the number of withdrawals and deposits with the to
- [R172] Missed payments: I’ve had a few payments that were inadvertently cancelled before by the app and then thought they had this fixed and it happened again. Not sure I can trust this without going back again and again to see if payment went through. Need to fix this issue. Cannot trust anything these days.
- [R9] Access: Some times the app locks up
- [R44] App is terrible: I have no idea how this app is rated above 2 stars. The bank is terrible. The app spins and spins all the time. It’s so messed up this time, when you call the 1-800 number, it answers and says, if having problems with the app, delete it and re install it.
- [R122] Some problems.: The app has some user friendly problems. The user can’t determine if the problem is in the software or some kind of internet connection problems. You should be able to transfer money or pay bills and get an immediate response but sometimes it takes 24 hours to post.
- [R248] It’s not working on my iPad Air: It’s not a good application for the banking system online most of my Applications are not working properly and I tried to get them to work with me on getting right. No luck yet.
- [R2] 👍: Love the service
- [R6] Medical assistant: Great
- [R12] Good: Good app
- [R49] App Never Works: Initially the app worked fine as of late. It has been terrible I am unable to log in each time I log in I have to test my password. Just to ensure I wasn’t inputting it incorrectly I took a s screenshot. Called IMCU Spoke with one nice lady all others were so rude and no help at all!!!
- [R101] Terrible Workflow Locked Me Out: New update to login doesn’t work. When logging in on my computer, it asks me to scan a QR code on my phone. When I do that, it opens the mobile app that tells me to scan a QR code with my phone. So now I can’t log in via my computer or my phone. I tried reinstalling and everything. Not sure if I’m an edge case or if this is just a very bad update.
