I’ve tried a lot of spam blockers over the past year. I’m not sure how effective they are or if the robocallers/spammers are just relentless. But the volume seems slightly improved over the last 3 months I’ve tried this one.

To fix this I’ve had to uninstall the app over two dozen times. Reinstall the app. Log back in. Give all the permissions that they want. For it to stop working again the very next day. So I’m unable to make adjustments for certain calls that are being mistakenly blocked. But it is blocking or routing calls to Voicemail that are spam.

I ended up deleting the app and setting up my phone to only allow calls from Contacts. I figured that if it's important and it's not a contact, they will leave a message.

It appears that you can only unblock five of your contacts to stop the app from blocking your contacts, but it still fails to block spam calls! I have it set so it’s not supposed to ring and they can’t leave a message. It’s weird because the app does recognize them as spam but is ignoring my settings.

The spam filter doesn’t block, so I have to manually add except it only allows up to 10 and you have to put the first six digits. It would be useful to see some stats now and then I.e. number of reporters, how many unique numbers reported and most reported numbers. There’s just NO feedback!!

I receive close to 15 spam calls a day from the following area codes, 822, 833, 844, 855, 866, 877, and 888. This program does not give us the ability to wholesale Black area codes that we have identified as known spammers. That has rendered this Verizon Call Filter plus completely useless against those tactics.
