I especially love the shelf scan option because if you are looking to buy a certain item, for example popcorn, you can scan the whole aisle very quickly and see which options score the highest! It makes grocery trips a lot faster for me than reading ingredients :)

I submitted these to their team and received a response that they’d look into it. But it makes me not trust the app. For example for Dave’s White Bread Dine Right, one entry says “avoid” the other “good”.

The score is different (it does not match the original score displayed). Also, it has the same item listed multiple times with hugely different scores. The search bar never works even though the items are in their system, and sometimes ingredients are left out resulting in a false score. For a paid app this definitely needs to be better

But most times I’ve tried to take a picture of the box / item, it never works. It may be an issue on my end, but it should be very intuitive. Press the scan button, and it should scan but it does not.
