Who it's for
This app is for individuals seeking daily positive affirmations, calming moments, and reminders to practice mindfulness, especially those who appreciate short, impactful messages and soothing music R9R10R28. It's particularly helpful for people dealing with anxiety, depression, or mental health challenges who need consistent positive reinforcement . It is not for users who prefer deeper, more complex meditations or those who are sensitive to frequent content and design changes in apps R14R24R65.
Evidence note: The recent reviews skew negative, with many positive reviews being older or less detailed. The high lifetime rating of 4.79 reflects a generally positive user base over time, but the recent sentiment indicates a decline in satisfaction, particularly following recent updates. The developer's notes mention new widgets but do not address the content and feature changes that users are complaining about.

- [R2] Helps me ground me: This truly helps me daily. And is usually relatable.
- [R4] Daily Mindset Redirection: Everyday has been a struggle in my head. It’s almost as though, I am trying to survive by pushing my self down and away. I get these daily and most of the time. I get guided back to where I want to be. Thank you.
- [R7] Much needed: I’m wanting to get better with seeing and speaking positive affirmations over myself. This is easy to use and it brings me peace.
- [R9] N: This daily mindfulness affirmations app is a wonderful tool for anyone who wants to start their day with positivity and peace. The app provides encouraging affirmations that help build confidence, reduce stress, and promote self-love. Each message is simple, powerful, and easy to understand, making it perfect for people of all ages. I especially like how the app sends daily reminders, which hel
- [R10] Beautiful: This is such a beautiful, wise and gentle app. Somehow it manages to pop up with messages absolutely appropriate to the moment and remind me to breathe as I listen to calming music. Just wonderful. It also has quotes to read from Seneca and Gibran and others. Really very excellent wisdom. I love this app.
- [R21] Greate: "The application is great, and listening to the selected music and extraordinary content made my heart dance. I'm very grateful. May you always be filled with light, love, and liberation."
- [R26] Inspirational: Nice positive quotes and relaxing music
- [R34] Great app for free positivity: Free legitimately and lovely. This app has no drawbacks. Every day it pops up a positive mindful thought with peaceful music, and you can open the app to read more positive thoughts if you like. I don’t personally resonate with the “readings” that are available, so I generally swipe past those. Overall been a nice app to have and I read the messages often.
- [R6] This game is the best: It is realy come and realaking you mite think is not free but if you fined the x it is realy free
- [R44] The right thing.: You haven’t charged me for these simple messages or bombarded me with ads, the messages are clear and simple, and the music is a cherry on top. Thank you.
- [R75] Great all around: Love this app. Free and a great use when stressors come. Quick open and a small read with peaceful sounds and landscapes. Helps to center and get back to life.
- [R28] Love this! Use it daily!: I love these 7 seconds of checking in with the now. I have notifications set to see it at the time I typically need it most, plus I look at it before bed.
- [R33] Simply Love This App: I’ve tried so many mindful programs but this is it. Not only is it easy to use but it’s actually relaxing. I love the interface. After just one session, I can feel the difference. I’m so grateful that I found this app. It’s worth every penny and more.
- [R24] New Update: I’m not totally crazy about a few things with this update. I loved this app but one change in particular really has me missing it greatly. Why did you remove the word Smile on the daily's! I loved those because even when I’d had a bad day I would read the daily and then it would remind me to SMILE I hope that comes back! It was such an important thing to me! Secondly the icon stinks!
- [R65] Bring the old version back!: I used to love this app, but ever since they changed the app’s mindfulness feature it just isn’t the same. I used to love getting notifications in the morning like for example, “take a deep breath in… think of ways you can love yourself today. Smile”. I think these types of messages promoted mindfulness and served as a reminder to take a break from our stressful lives.
- [R112] Old version was better!: I’ve loved Mindful for months. But this latest update is the worst. No more lovely notifications you can read when you want/need, now it seems like it’s trying to be a poor imitation of the Calm app. I loved this unique old version! Thinking about deleting now and just using Calm anyway (which I already do)
- [R14] Hate this app: I hate this app. IMO it’s uninspired, shallow and pointless.
- [R29] i’m not sure how to feel: At first i really liked this app, but then I started to get really weird messages on my home screen. It just creeped me out.
- [R61] Lame: All it is is sayings to put on your Lock Screen…pretty lame
- [R127] “Pretend to be happy. It works”: Worst “mindful” statement I’ve ever heard.
- [R52] A few problems: The app is great but u hardly can’t do anything with out being a patron and I really like the app but I can’t become a patron so I wish there was more features overall the app is great and it does help in ways.
- [R105] Enjoy the free version: It’s simple and grounding. When I chose to install it I had no idea that one will need to pay for it, I was disappointed as a result. Not sure I’d have installed it if I had known. There’s not much to the free version but it’s ok.
- [R59] Used to be a good app: I used to like this app… until it got buggy and crashes all the time.
- [R136] Just ok: It’s very pretty, but the messages are too simple I’d prefer something deeper. Also the music will only play if your iPhone ringer is on, mine is always set to vibrate and at first I thought it was the app, then I discovered that. So that feature needs work. Also I thought it was a free trial, I was charged $1.99 a month. Which is fine but let me try it free first. I cancelled and deleted
- [R121] Terrible: This is the worst app I ever downloaded. So trash and always talking money.
- [R126] Charged without my permission: Charged without my permission
- [R12] Constantly changing: I have it set for one affirmation per day. It gives me like ten. It’s annoying. I want to focus on one affirmation per day. Not multiple.
- [R111] Quotes: It’s the same quote everyday
- [R39] Music and songs: Creepy and depressing!!! Music should be uplifting or soothing nature sounds such as rain, waves etc.
