- [R35] Better: Recent changes have improved the performance of the app. I am happier with it now.
- [R113] I love the Meritrust app!: I love all the new features! The new app gives me such much more control over my money and I love the color!
- [R126] Spectacular: I LOVE the new app!!! From the colors to the functionality…it’s so tech forward and fun to use. I like how I can personalize it and arrange my accounts and services how I want to see them. The accounts have so much information and ability to navigate through the system so easily!!! Great job Meritrust!! You make banking fun!!
- [R94] Works after a call from Nick: I’ve been a Meritrust member for 20+ years, but didn’t realize that my checking account number and member number are different. I tried to re enroll for the online and mobile app but it kept giving me an error, so I sent a message on the chat. The following day, Nick called and was very helpful and patient with me while I tried to re enroll. He got everything working
- [R143] Extra Account: Justin over at the MeriTrust branch on E 21st St N helped me open up my extra account. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly and courteous. Justin was ABOVE and BEYOND my expectations; which are ALWAYS high! He even set up my mobile banking app and my mobile account for me! Justin was a sheer delight to work with. I was a customer previously about 10 years ago an
- [R2] Never loads: It’s like you need to be tapped into a nasa satellite to even load the app
- [R3] App won’t work: This app is garbage. No matter how many times I try, I can never log into it.
- [R7] Trash: The app crashes over and over, never loads or pulls up, constantly has errors, and over half the time you can’t even get passed the login screen. Considering switching banks just based on how bad this app runs and inaccessibilities of my account through the app.
- [R32] Crashes to Home Screen constantly: Since the latest update the app crashes to the home screen on any action. Transfer, view account, anything at all, instant crash. The app is completely unusable at the moment.
- [R4] Confusing: I’ve had a couple auto loan apps and this one is by far the most not self explanatory app when it comes to transferring money into the account and around the account. Very frustrating app to work with and set up auto payments 🙅
- [R11] Payment.: Very hard to just make a loan payment. Having to transfer to an account and then pay your payment from that is absurd.
- [R12] Car Payment: Dice we got this loan it has been nothing but trouble to use the app to make the payment! My husband has called multiple times and nobody seems to be able to help him! We set up direct debit. The payment was taken out and then returned to our account. I transferred money to our credit union account to pay the car payment and for two weeks I have been trying to do so but every time I t
- [R17] App improvements: App isn’t very smooth. Difficult to pay a cc have to do external transfer and wait days then go back in to pay. Would be better to be Apple to just pay the bill.
- [R10] Difficult to Use: It's backwards and not user friendly. Still have to call in for information that should be able to access in the app. Not able to make payments ahead.
- [R18] Outdated hard to use website and app: Use websites and apps all day every day. Nothing is as hard to use as this website. Customer service isn't much better.
- [R25] Not intuitive: Harder to use than the old app. Really not a fan of this layout or how it’s set up. And stop asking me for my location every single time I open app. I hit no each time. Why is there not an option to not ask me again. This is so annoying
- [R29] Hands down…: …the worst banking app I’ve ever used. The terrible online experience is the main reason I stopped using this credit union as my main financial institution, and then they upgraded to a new app and it only got worse. Non-stop issues with doing the most basic things like transferring. It’s clunky and I have a difficult time believing that anyone used/tested this and then gave it two t
- [R9] If It Ain’t Broke: I use my Ipad 99% to check my accounts. Now I cannot see what I need to see because screen will NOT reformat t0 landscape. Once this gets fixed then you will have a descent app. I have other financial accounts and EVERY ONE of them I can view in landscape mode on my IPad. Please fix this.
- [R36] Needs a widget: I miss the old app that had the “quick view” widget for balances.
- [R57] This app isn’t for iPad.: Why did you change the apps. The old app was so much better and functioned properly on my iPad. Now I have to turn my iPad and docking station side ways to use. Please include an app that functions properly on an iPad.
- [R71] No widget: Where did the widget go??
- [R51] Notifications from app: The notifications for withdrawals or deposits I have set up take forever to actually notify me, anywhere from 5-15 hours. Old app was instant. Would be nice it this could be fixed. Both the in app notification and the text take forever. This new app is awful.
- [R59] I miss the old app: This app has taken several steps backwards in terms of convenience and ease of use for meritrust customers. What used to be an easy process to transfer funds is now a multi-step, clunky ordeal with multiple different screens involved. The spending alerts are also useless, as I will get multiple alerts at once - hours after the actual spending has taken place. I was excited
- [R95] Disappointed: What’s the point going through and configuring alerts if the information shows up 24 hours later? No reason with today’s technology we can’t receive an immediate text when there’s been activity on our account.
- [R15] Verifying: I have to verify my phone almost every time I log in after I’ve told it that this is my phone. Really annoying otherwise good
- [R26] Issues: The save the username button doesn’t work properly, also overnight the balance will change back to the amount that was previously deposited not quoting the correct bal.. which could potentially cause overdraft!
- [R37] Bugs: I’ve had the same phone the whole time I’ve been at meritrust. Always used this same phone to log in. Now all of a sudden, every time I get on the app of this phone, it makes me re-log in every time because it’s a “different” or “un trusted” device. That is so annoying
- [R91] WHAT IS THIS ?: These 5 star reviews out there have to be fake. Probably encouraged customers in their lobby or even employees to write them. Still won’t make the app as good as the old version that you took away and gave to your more prosperous customers with companies. There’s no reason you couldn’t have invested in that same style app for a secondary customer base. I’m probably going to close
- [R24] It’s back to not working with plaid: This is the third time this has happened and the interface is still often buggy at times
- [R39] From good to meh: The website and app change was a real downgrade and I nearly switched banks over it. Plaid functionality FINALLY returned just before I’d had enough. Still, the app and desktop site have the same limited functionality and uninspired aesthetic. The less I have to deal with it, the better.
- [R55] Plaid connections broken: The new app and redesign broke connections with account verifier Plaid and has disconnected my accounts from all of my 3rd party services like Rocket Money and Stripe. Update to developer: Plaid is a B2B service you had connected on the previous app. You must make the connection, not the end user.
- [R13] Not a reliable app: The Meritrust mobile app is not alway reliable.
- [R19] Loan payments: I’m regretting switching my loan payment over to this credit union. They’ve serviced it well. The problem is how tough they make it to simply make a payment. They require the customer have a savings account and that they make the payments from it. So there’s this huge hassle every month to make an external transfer into this account (which takes at least a day or two to process) bef
