- [R1] C25K® 5K Running Coach & Map Disappointed you now have to pay!?: I’ve not updated the app and it works fine for me, but my husband updated it on his phone and it’s now asking for payment after a weeks trial! Really disappointed as the app was fantastic for people trying to make a difference to their health! The NHS app seems to be just as good so will be using that instead.
- [R4] C25K® 5K Running Coach & Map Only first 4 weeks available for free: Most of the program is behind a pay watch
- [R9] C25K® 5K Running Coach & Map Get ready to pay!: If you download this because it says it offers an Iwatch app, get ready to have to pay a stupid monthly price to be able to leave your phone at home and run with your watch!!!
- [R10] C25K® 5K Running Coach & Map Was fantastic as a free app…: Used to be free but now they make you sign up
- [R6] C25K® 5K Running Coach & Map Could be so much better: App works averagely but the user interface could do with improvement as could aspects of its operation. Buttons are too close together when saving runs from watch, I’ve lost several when trying to upload . Buttons for run sector are also too close together. It’s easy to select the wrong one and not realise until your part way through. The week and day lettering needs wor
- [R7] C25K® 5K Running Coach & Map Not for me as it has one big flaw: Only used this app twice, but it has failed on both occasions. Each time cancels my music when running (I need music to run!) I can see that this is a common problem. I’ll be looking for a different app that allows the music to play, or just be going with a timer on my watch which allows music in the background.
- [R12] C25K® 5K Running Coach & Map Disappointingly buggy: Constantly freezes
- [R22] C25K® 5K Running Coach & Map ….looks ok?: Immediately froze When it did open it started and immediately stopped a workout It didn’t actually track any of my stats It also paused the Apple Watch workout that I was actually using to log the data Didn’t give me notifications to run or walk at the right time, and sometimes it would just throw them out seemingly at random or repeat them 10/15 seconds after the first Wouldn’t clos
- [R3] C25K® 5K Running Coach & Map Ok: Not very inspiring and disappointing that you can’t see your sats unless you upgrade.
- [R20] C25K® 5K Running Coach & Map Very basic, not worth the subscription: I didn’t mind the simplicity of this app to start with. No bells, no whistles, just a voice telling you when to run and when to walk. But when it suddenly sprang on me the fact I would have to subscribe before I could do run five (of 27) I was a bit shocked. Pay for this? Seriously? I wasn’t aware it was a paid app. Then I accidentally deleted the record o
- [R48] C25K® 5K Running Coach & Map How the hell do you navigate around the app?: Did the first one but couldn’t seem to find anyway of viewing what I’d done... pace... distance etc... clicked on help and FAQ and that didn’t take me anywhere either! Crap! Deleted it and will download a different version that’s easier to use 😡
- [R41] C25K® 5K Running Coach & Map Good but not for the Apple Watch: The app is fine in practice with an iPhone, but the wAtch version is poor. I’d like the watch version to tell me when to change pace, and seamlessly sync with the phone. I’d pay for that, but the current version wasn’t worth the cost.
- [R42] C25K® 5K Running Coach & Map Charges: Downloaded because it had the watch app. Uninstalled because they want £5/month to use the watch app.
- [R40] C25K® 5K Running Coach & Map More like “mildly fit” to 5k...: As someone who is quite overweight and quite unfit, I looked to c25k for help in starting off in trying to make a positive change to my lifestyle, hoping it would help “get me off the couch” and on the treadmill. Unfortunately, the app directs you to run, albeit for just 1 minute intervals, right from week one, day one. I’m not fit enough to run for a minute yet.
- [R55] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker Can’t beat the OG: I’ve always been a fan of Map My Run. I stated using it over 15 years ago and trained for two marathons with it. It gives me the exact function I need (mapping my run) with out crazy fees. Now I’ve slowed down a bit and still use it for every run. I don’t want to post on social. I just want to know how long and how fast I’ve been running with my dog.
- [R58] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker Best running app: Clean. Simple. Smooth. Exactly what you need for a running app. And you can connect with friends and make challenges. Dosnt get much better than this
- [R61] Map My Run GPS Running Tracker TRACKING: Love the app! I have the free version and I can still enjoy most of the features!
- [R66] Nike Run Club The best: I always end up back here
- [R68] Nike Run Club Potential not met: I want to write a good review. The training sessions can help newer runners find motivation. But I cannot ignore the shortcomings. The app is buggy sometimes crashing and losing the entire run. When that is a long run in marathon distance and there is no way to restore or remake it? That sucks. Some portions of the app (rate run effort lock up and won’t let you press the checkb
- [R75] Nike Run Club My other car is a pair of running shoes!: I love NRC. I tell people about it all the time. My brother is in Peru Indiana and I am in Gallup NM. Hoe do I add him to my leaderboard/friends?
- [R78] Nike Run Club Becoming a Runner: I like the ability to compete and motivate my friends. I’m super proud of my progress during this season
- [R80] ASICS Runkeeper, Run Tracker Great app: It’s a great app, it’s free and I just personally haven’t had any problems with it
- [R83] ASICS Runkeeper, Run Tracker Great app!!!: I have been using this app in basic mode since 2023. It’s reliable, intuitive, and informative. I recommend using this app to everyone!
- [R90] ASICS Runkeeper, Run Tracker Love it: LOVE the guided workouts on free version. I bought the pro version when I was training for a half marathon and the plan it gave me was awesome and totally worth it for someone who enjoys structure !!
- [R92] ASICS Runkeeper, Run Tracker Satisfied Runkeeper User!: Hello! I am very satisfied with the Runkeeper app. It has helped me stay on track with my goals and track my progress. I appreciate how easy it is to use and how it keeps me motivated.
- [R94] 5K Runner Great but wish for more: I have used other apps that did the same thing in the past. This one is definitely one of the best. The lifetime pass is a good deal as well. But I will cancel now that I reached the end of my trial. The good stuff: - I like the questionnaire that dropped me in the middle of the program. Other apps force you to start at the start. - The app also asks you how the run went
- [R96] 5K Runner You’ll love it!: This program is great at progressing you in a way that makes you succeed. I’m technically done with the program but I still run with it every single time.
- [R98] 5K Runner Love: Impactful. The push is real.
- [R100] 5K Runner This app is awesome!: I downloaded this app way before the pandemic. For one reason or another, I’ve always had to stop mid goal. But this app’s got my back. Music, the ability to track the progress. There’s no better way to start over!!
- [R108] adidas Running Easy: Very easy to use on all ages
- [R114] adidas Running Best running app: I love how easy it makes it to track your runs and how each mile gives you points that you can eventually redeem for stuff like percent offs or even whole gifts if you get enough points.
- [R120] adidas Running Functional: Works great love!
- [R95] 5K Runner It used to be worth it…: I used this app back in 2019 to get ready for my first 5k. It was only $12 for 12 weeks which was great. It also offered a couple different options for different prices. Just redownloaded it and not only did they get rid of the options but now it’s $50! Definitely not worth that much. On to a different app…
- [R97] 5K Runner Not the same.: Used to use this app all the time. It was free to use the first 2 interval programs unlimited. Now you can use it free for 2 days then take your wallet out.
- [R101] 5K Runner Unable to use: Unable to get passed free trial/ $50 subscription
- [R105] 5K Runner Not free: After you give all your personal data it forces you to pay $50. May have been a good app before but scummy now
