Fueling errors, vehicle profiles wouldn’t save/persist and reserving parking was a nightmare (mostly because of the profile problem). As of May ‘26, everything above has improved 100%. IOW, the app works again…

Now it wants me to recreate my profile each time I sign in. I tried going through the steps, then it tells me my account already exists. What’s going on??

Nothing works properly, never wants to take card information, and the format is 2008 mobile web quality. They never update it and don’t really seem to care. TruckSmart? I guess that’s an oxymoron. Update: the new app seems only half finished and half working. Still garbage.

13. [R35] 1/5 · US Payment issues: Been using this app for year and since Bp bought them it rejects my payment methods for my personal credit cards. I have tried different cards it doesn’t matter. I have updated my profile and the app and it still does it. It won’t even let me use my fleet card to pay for parking or showers on the app but I can in store. This is very frustrating

15. [R9] 1/5 · US Broken App: TruckSmart the app is littered with bugs like it telling me I’m too far from a Petro or TA even when I’m in a Petro or TA parking lot i.e. it doesn’t allow me to use the app for fuel or showers. The app once worked decently those days have come to an end.

Compared to other apps for major T/S like loves or pilot, truck smart seems to be out of date. Yes, you can accomplish the basic tasks you are looking to achieve, but the UI is a bit frustrating at times and the app loves to crash.

The latest app released two months ago completely fails in allowing drivers to authorize at the pump thru the app and doesn’t even record receipt locations properly. I have fueled manually and the system does not record my points or send reciepts 1/2 the time
