1. [R1] 5/5 · US The best book inventory app: BookBuddy is a wonderful app and it allows for me to maintain a clean inventory for all of the books I own. Once in a while I need to manually add in a book that it doesn’t recognize, but it’s an easy task to do. I highly recommend the app.

3. [R13] 5/5 · US GAME CHANGER!: I love, love this app. I do a lot of thrifting and secondhand shopping for books. This keeps me from buying duplicates (unless it’s a really good book, then I buy an extra copy or two to share.)

I just used it at the bookstore to make sure I was not buying duplicates. It’s easy it’s intuitive. It does not have extras or ads. I do have the paid version, which is very much worth the price.

This was top of the list as a close related app. Was disappointed that half my books I scanned. I had to go back and enter in manually anyways save yourself the time in trouble and just get Handy library from Google.

About half scanned bar codes take, which saves a lot of time, but makes the rest require manual input. I hope there’s continued improvement or development for long term use

The only feature I wish it had was the ability to sort by author last name. My books are organized on my shelves this way and it would make everything so much easier when it came time to shelve books.

My only complaint would be that I have to manually create and add books to the “series” filter. This can be frustrating when you have large book series or a lot of different series. It would be nice if it would automatically gather this information online and create them for you.

The only thing I wish they’d add is a way to track the series, so you know which series you have all the books for or how many books you might be missing. But as a book collector, it’s a great app! Highly recommend!
