I get it, they’re headed to the Super Bowl and it’s exciting, but I have this app for breaking news. Not to follow a sports team. Maybe the developers should consider adding preferences to the settings so we can decide what we want notifications for.

STOP sending smart phone notifications of the game results immediately after the game. You can wait a few hours. You are spoiling it for so many people. If it does not end, I’m gonna delete your app.

Also noted the Most Recent review was Nov 2024? I love Channel 7 News and I’d love to be able to give the App a 5-⭐

For example, we were scoping out what to do on first night and the newsfeed was at least 45 minutes behind actual events. Otherwise, good reporting, particularly local. Thank you.

I love them and I love not paying a huge cable bill every month. The only problem is that the fire stick will not let me down load your free website! I was able to give him the app to watch on his phone but it’s not available or Apple TV. The apps that offer local television do not include channel 7 or channel 5 Boston in their local channels so there’s no way other than on his phone or mirroring the phone

37. [R13] 4/5 · US Volume issues: I use this app on my Roku primarily for the Live news feature because I don’t have cable. I appreciate it’s availability, however, the app has some serious volume issues. Sports segment is VERY loud but then you can barely hear the weather. I have my finger on the volume button because I’m constantly having to increase and decrease the volume depending on what segment is on.

The selection for the locations for local news is better than the other stations. I just can’t look at the stories in a waiting room.

The weather was still wrong but at least there was no spin or coving up what is going on. This reminds me of pre World War II. The German people were not as excited to follow as the woke crowd is today. Less political spin and more reporting of facts.

But recently aí gave up, either in my computer or my cellphone soon after the comercial, the news works for 3 seconds then stop, I tried so many times with Windows, IOS, Android. Isn’t an internet problem it’s the site problem, the app or the website is the same annoying problem. Would be great if this bugs gets fixed
