Adding comments without the setting to turn them off was a nightmarish choice. AP news app has opened the gate to mud slinging and defensive grouping. These photos are placed in the center of the screen, and it creates a dead zone for vertical scrolling. The new format is very obviously to allow publishers to choose which stories are most relevant to readers instead of letting readers decide which stories matter the most to them. My iPhone doesn’t seem to have the same problem. It is easier to read articles on the iPad but I am skipping over swaths of articles because they have been there for extended periods of time. Is this an AP updating issue? Or an iOs updating issue?

I attempt to log back in, and instead of accepting my login credentials, the app prompts me that my account doesn’t exist and I have to create a new account. It’s like click sensitivity for the ad is set to x1000. Hover over the screen when Expedia is around and they’ll take you on a vacation to the safari app. I’ve never accidentally opened an article, but I can’t avoid opening the ad for the life of me.
