ATLAS:EARTH

40
Value score / 100 Worth paying? No Skip it

Atlas:Earth has a compelling concept of virtual land ownership with real payouts, but the extremely slow earning rate for free players, numerous technical issues, and aggressive marketing tactics make it a questionable investment of time or money for many users.

Free to download seen up to $300 4.6★ lifetime (95,635) since 2021

Atlas:Earth allows users to buy virtual land that supposedly generates real income, with some players finding it fun and a way to earn money over time R5R13R24. However, the payout is very low and slow for free players, often requiring significant time or in-app purchases to see any meaningful return, leading many to view it as a scam R4R17R34. Technical problems like app crashes, login issues, and difficulty with surveys further detract from the experience R2R7R11R30.

Free vs paid

The free tier allows users to earn 'Atlas Bucks' by playing suggested games, collecting crystals on the map (requiring physical movement), watching ads, and doing surveys R5R41. However, earning enough to buy land and see a payout is extremely slow, with some users reporting not even earning 0.1 of a dollar after six months R4R13R34. The paid tier involves purchasing Atlas Bucks directly through in-app purchases to acquire land faster R4R21R41. While some claim this speeds up income significantly R29, many reviews suggest that even with purchases, the return on investment is poor, and the app is perceived as a paywall R4R17R21.

Value complaints

  • The cost of land is considered too high, with one square costing £5, making it seem like a paywall.R17R21
  • The amount of land needed to earn a small sum, like $5, is excessive, requiring 142 plots and 14200 coins, indicating overpriced in-app purchases.R4
  • It is difficult to earn money easily without paying, with some users not even reaching 0.1 of a dollar after six months.R12R34
  • Users outside the US experience significantly worse earning rates, bonuses, and higher purchase costs due to ignored currency exchange rates, making it unfair.R18R49

Where it delivers

  • Some users find the app fun and a good way to get out walking to collect in-game crystals.R5
  • The concept of earning money through virtual land ownership is appealing to some, who believe it's a great project.R24R43
  • While slow, some players acknowledge that consistent play can eventually lead to a worthwhile payout.R13R29
Worth paying if

It is worth paying if you enjoy the gamified aspect of virtual land ownership and are willing to spend money for faster progression without expecting significant financial returns, viewing it more as entertainment R5.

Skip / stay free if

You should skip paying if you are looking for a quick or substantial income stream, are easily frustrated by slow progress, or are concerned about numerous technical issues and aggressive marketing R4R17R34R42. Users outside the US should also skip paying due to reported worse rates and unfair bonuses R18R49.

Evidence note: The evidence is somewhat polarized, with many 1-star reviews detailing significant issues and slow progress, contrasted by 5-star reviews that are often brief, enthusiastic, or include referral codes, which might skew positive sentiment.

  1. [R17] 1/5 · GB Awful And Boring: Awful game can’t do anything without paying, watching ads or doing surveys. Literally nothing to do in this just one big paywall
  2. [R21] 1/5 · GB Don’t bother: You need to pay for everything. One “square” of land is £5?! Insane.
  3. [R4] 1/5 · GB Absolute scam: The title is all you really need to know, in a year you would need to own 142 plots of land to earn $5 which means you would need to earn or buy 14200 coins to buy those lands, you’re making the developer a lot more money playing other apps (arcade games), doing surveys or using their in app purchases that are way over priced. On top of that I can’t imagine they have a high payout r
  4. [R12] 2/5 · GB Boring: So hard to get money easily
  5. [R34] 1/5 · GB Wouldn’t waste your time: This game is fake you don’t make any money I’ve had it for over 6 months and still not even at 0.1 of a dollar. Don’t waste your time on this fake game you don’t make money
  6. [R18] 3/5 · GB Difference in rates across countries too high: People outside the US get much worse rate. They should try and share out the earnings more evenly
  7. [R49] 1/5 · GB Atlas USA: This app should be called “Atlas USA (we’ll throw a bone to the rest of the world occasionally)”. If you live outside the US it is far more difficult to progress. Bonuses, rewards and boosts are a fraction and the currency exchange rate is ignored thus making purchases more expensive. A global game should be fair around the globe, this just isn’t.
  8. [R5] 5/5 · GB Great app: This is a nice fun app. There are in app purchases but you don’t have to use them to get land. There are ways to earn money to buy land. I play the games they suggest and also collect the crystals on the map. You have to get them physically so it gets me out walking to go get them! It’s great to own your favorite places. There are little events to enter too but I don’t bother with those
  9. [R24] 5/5 · GB GREAT WAY TO EARN & INJOY: I believe this great project & so much interesting same time you will EARN MONEY💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰I love to recommend

  11. [R13] 3/5 · GB Overall fairly worthwhile: I like this game and I’m not gonna complain about the really low momentary reward because if you play it a lot eventually it will be worth it for the payout. It’s not goin to be significant till you’ve played it a bit every day for like a year but I do have one request for the developers: Can you please make it so the X button to exit the ads is more easily clickable. I
  12. [R29] 5/5 · GB Great game: Money is slow but it’s what’s expected from these games and you can speed it up at a fairly quick rate
  13. [R41] 5/5 · GB Good app: Use my code OM5TB1 to get free atlas bucks I’ve been playing this game for about a year now and I won’t lie too you, it takes a while too actually be able too Cashout any money unless you’re willing too spend money on the app (I still haven’t got there). However it’s a god and fun lil app. There’s mini games that cost 2 atlas bucks to play and you get rewards based on your ranking. There
  14. [R3] 1/5 · GB UK PHONE NUMBER: Game doesn’t even let you submit my number apparently it’s incorrect…. There’s too many digits in a uk phone number to be able to register on the game which is a scam because I could get a free plot of land with the free 100 bucks
  15. [R9] 1/5 · GB My age: I set my age to low by accident I was meant to put 2007 and accidently put 2008 and now it won’t let me play or change it
  16. [R22] 1/5 · GB Miss clicked: I’ve missed clicked my age when verifying and it just won’t let me set up an account. I’ve emailed in.
  17. [R30] 1/5 · GB Logged me out: Absolutely awful DO NOT USE THIS APP, I was logged out and now I cannot get back into my account, I have spent lots of money purchasing bucks to buy land now it has all been taken away. THIS COMPANY IS A CON
  18. [R27] 2/5 · GB Text messages: How can I stop these text msg the stop text does not work, the block is not working nothing is working the spam is driving me nuts
  19. [R33] 1/5 · GB Spam messages: Even when you try to ask them to stop messaging and emailing you they don’t listen
  20. [R38] 1/5 · GB Stop to usub.: Well I reply with “STOP” and nothing happens
  21. [R42] 1/5 · GB STOP @!?ING TEXTING ME!!!!!: I’ve had this app deleted for months and I still get texts from you. At the bottom it says “STOP to end” which I’ve tried but it rejects my message every time; I’ve also tried to block the contact from texting me but it comes through every time!! I’ve never dealt with this before and just want it to stop, deleting the app doesn’t even help!!!
  22. [R2] 1/5 · GB Don’t do surveys: Just spent 33 minutes doing a survey based on a new trailer for prime. Clicked finish at the end and it timed out and said error! Atlas said I should have print screened … should I print screen every survey I do just in case? Waste of time.
  23. [R7] 4/5 · GB Recently app keeps closing: Halfway through ads it keeps shutting down the app it never used to do this very annoying, but otherwise a good app when working normally
  24. [R11] 1/5 · GB Rewards: Game ok but loads of problems. Can’t watch adverts for rewards. Watched so many then game crashes and I don’t get anything. Shame it would have potential
  25. [R16] 1/5 · GB Terrible game…: Doesn’t even work…
