MadMuscles
MadMuscles offers effective workouts and personalized coaching, but its value is significantly undermined by widespread complaints about misleading pricing, unauthorized charges, and poor customer service regarding cancellations and refunds.
MadMuscles provides effective, challenging workouts and positive reinforcement from coaches, with many users reporting good results. However, numerous reviews highlight issues with hidden subscription charges, difficulty canceling, and unresponsive customer support, making the paid experience risky for some.

- [R4] Don’t buy this: Do not get this app. It is very misleading. There is no free trial. They charge you anyway find these workouts online yourself for free.
- [R8] Rip Off: Complete rip off. Changed my card $50 for something I never signed up for.
- [R18] Beware!: Curious to signed up for trial. When creating account you get bombarded with pop up’s and options. I clicked on one that signed me up for meal planning. Realized it when I saw $60 charge. I immediately contacted them to ask it be taken off but was repeatedly told no. Horrible customer service and all around scammy.
- [R23] Stay away save your money useless: I had a very disappointing experience with MadMuscles. I signed up because I was told I would only be charged $10. Instead, I was unexpectedly charged $90. I contacted customer support multiple times by email to explain the situation and request a refund. After a long back-and-forth, they refused to issue a full refund and only offered me $30 back. I feel the p
- [R21] Fraud: Tried canceling and they keep trying to charge me. Stay away
- [R29] Cancel: I’m trying to cancel I’ve tried three times and you keep sending me workouts! Cancel my subscription!
- [R50] Sucks: When you sign up for this program, there’s no way to stop the payments if you decide you don’t wanna do it anymore it’s kind of rip off that way
- [R60] Not what I expected.: I expected a walking routine of about 10 minutes a day. I got a much longer routine. Please cancel my subscription.
- [R26] Impossible to get relevant support from this site.: Terrible service.
- [R65] Complicated no customer service: I got this app for my wife to use and I can’t change the settings to woman workouts, and there is no-one that can help besides sending me general information 2 days later
- [R12] Good exercises, bad company: If they wouldn’t lie upfront that this is a monthly subscription I would give it a five star review
- [R2] TheAntiCommie: Very effective app. Enjoying it very much. Like having my own personal digital band
- [R3] Love these workouts: This app is extremely easy to use. They have workouts premade for you. You just have to follow them and it's very good.
- [R5] Amazing challenge: MadMuscles app is the most amazing and challenging workout I’ve ever done! Which makes me hungry for more challenges while I’m getting in shape. I love it!! I highly recommend you download this MadMuscles app!
- [R7] Great Workout @ 53 Years Old 💪: Thanks Guys, This is a very good program for me at 53 years old. I’m feeling great. Jazāk Allāhu Khayran جزاك الله خير
- [R1] The positive reinforcement I need: My coach, Chris, is an uplifting, kind & dedicated trainer who is very knowledgeable & passionate about fitness & nutrition. He is a dynamic coach & a joy to work with. He has a great way of being direct & patient.
- [R13] Excellent: Love the info & Training Guidance
- [R14] 1000% recommend: I was skeptical at first but this has been great. I have always struggled to gain weight and since getting on the program and having conversations with a trainer it’s been awesome. I have seen weight gain. Right now I am averaging 3lbs a week. My target weight is inching closer. I promise you if you follow the plan you will see the results you desire!!
- [R22] I’m turning 60: Mad Muscle is keeping me motivated. I do the military calisthenics, beginner, every day. I started 28 days ago on June 1. Most sessions are 15 minutes long with 4-8 exercises that are 30 seconds to a minute and then there is a rest or sometimes there are a few in a row and then a rest. I always feel that, it’s only 15 minutes and I can do it. There are no weights needed and I do it
- [R24] Easy to Use & Worth it!: I’m constantly sore right now getting my body back in shape but these work outs are worth it and I already feel stronger and have more energy!
- [R37] Love It: I had no idea I was so out of shape. Its a quick, efficient, total muscle and cardio workout and its easy to stick with because its short durations and full of variety.
- [R57] Mad Workout: Great workout with solid movements great for those trying to get back into fitness regimens. I just turned 60 and find this to be a great HIT workout with body weight. Best for us older guys and cardio metabolic workout combined
- [R59] Old Man: Haven’t worked out like this in 50 years. I am loving it. I have a long way to go but will get there eventually!
- [R42] Not suitable for beginners: The app does not spend enough time showing the movements in details. Instead it shows a cursory video in a few short seconds and starts timing you long before you are ready to start. Some exercises are simple enough but others for a beginner are too complicated and need a step by step set of instructions
