Zoe
Zoe is a user-friendly dating app primarily for queer women, praised for its inclusive environment and ease of use, but it faces criticism for extensive paywalls, a prevalence of fake profiles, and limited location filtering options.
Zoe is a dating app that many users find easy to navigate and inclusive, particularly for queer women. However, a significant number of recent reviews highlight the necessity of a premium subscription to access core features like seeing likes, and some users report issues with fake profiles and inadequate location filters.

Who it's for
Zoe is for queer women looking for an easy-to-use dating app with a supportive community R2R18. It's particularly suited for those willing to pay for a premium subscription to unlock full features R3R17. It may not be ideal for users who are unwilling to pay for premium features or who require precise geographical filtering R6R8R63R64.
Evidence note: The recent reviews skew negative, particularly concerning paywalls and fake profiles, which contrasts with the high lifetime rating. This suggests a potential decline in user satisfaction or an increase in these specific issues over time. The developer's release notes are vague ('Bug fixes and improvements') and do not address the specific issues raised by recent negative reviews.

- [R10] Wonderful app.: Amazing app. Ideal if you’re wanting to meet single gay people unlike other dating apps. it’s great. Very easy to navigate
- [R18] Easy to use: Safe space for lesbians to meet likeminded others.
- [R1] Fab app: Great app, welcoming admin checking in everything is going okay with you too!
- [R25] Easy too use: Admin really goes out of her way too make sure you feel safe and looked after. So far app is good and easy to use so far so good!
- [R28] Great: Great app also the admin for the app is very nice and welcoming
- [R31] Great app!: Really easy to navigate and you can search by distance and other criteria. I’ve seen lots of lovely ladies on Zoe so far and can’t wait to chat to more. The support team are also fab.
- [R14] Good app: Great app, easy to use and navigate. Love how you can verify your identity so you can swipe past the fakes! Really enjoying!
- [R47] Great app: Only just started, but already feel it’s legitimate especially as you need to be verified. Definitely worth to check out
- [R99] Zoe review: The app interface is really nice! I'm really pleased with the security measures, like having both public and private photos, as well as verifying the identity of users. It gives me a lot of peace of mind.
- [R6] It’s ok..: Have to pay to see who likes me so the app is pretty pointless if u ask me..
- [R8] Paywall: Can’t see any likes unless you pay
- [R17] This app…: Interesting app, I was lucky enough to try the premium which I reckon you need so that you can see who has liked you etc. the app is good, there are some decent people on there. Quite a friendly app in comparison to some of the others out there people are pretty genuine which I liked. You should give it a try :)
- [R62] Good app: It’s a good app overall but you can’t see who likes your profile unless you pay for it.
- [R27] Great app: Finally an app with some decent people on would be awesome for new members to receive a free trial so they can really get the best out of it which would lead to subscribing. Be careful of fake profiles as their are men posing as women. But regardless. Great app. Simple to use !! 9/10 recommend !! Has much more potential than those other dating apps!!
- [R59] TONS of men on here: Not sure how they get by but every time I report them, nothing happens. They end up back on the feed!
- [R71] Fake Profiles: Hardly any real people on this app. Lots of people that disappear once you ask to verify. Be careful
- [R72] Too many fake profiles.. Paid acct: Don’t waste your time- or money for sure! So many Fake / and unverified profiles, and when you ask users to verify .. they block you.. I paid for the first month and cancelled it- I reported so many and the same ones just pop up again- staff say they are working on it, but they need to request verification to sign up or else it’s just scammers. Too bad.
- [R63] Terrible app: Usability is low, they start requiring all the personal data from the get go without even letting you see who is here and if it worth staying. No way to choose location: people travel you morons and maybe I’m interested in looking for people not in the place where my phone is. They bomb you with ads straight away. No way to delete profile or your photo.
- [R64] No country filter: Yet another dating app that is useless because there is no filter by country; it just uses a simple radius search. As a trans Canadian I can’t even legally cross into the USA with the current administration down there, and living in Windsor 99% of my search results are people living in Detroit. What an absolute waste of my time.
- [R69] So far so good, but too many ads: I found the set up in this app very easy but the constant pop up ads are very annoying.
- [R92] Disappointing: Too many ads, I went though almost all the profiles in one day then was just shown the same profiles over and over (I had my distance set at 200kms) and came across more profiles of cis men than there should be on a queer app. Deleted my profile pretty quick.
- [R67] It forces me to verify the account: Hi.. I’m a premium user and it won’t let me use the app without verify my account….. AFTER my payment!! I don’t want to!!!! It’s same as outing!!!! it should give me a freedom or refund my money for my subscription………..!!!!!!
- [R82] Can’t login and reset password: New user here for few days and then I was logged out. I’ve tried to log in or reset password, no emails received. Request to delete my account for privacy please.
- [R3] Great app: I’m in love with this app it’s so easy to use and the subscription services isn’t even that expensive. Not compared to the other apps on the App Store. I definitely recommend getting this app.
- [R29] Great: So far so good… liked it. I have found some people who are after our money but we can easily locate them. Make calls ask for voice notes and relay back. So stay safe and find the one we are seeking for
