- [R7] Rocket Money Worth Every Penny!: Rocket Money has really helped to organize our finances, see our spending clearly and take charge of how and when we spend our money! Alerts are extremely helpful! If you desire to take control of your money instead of having your money control you, then Rocket Money is a must have!! Absolutely love this app!! 5 stars is not enough!!
- [R13] Budget organizer: So good to get to see how much I really spend
- [R17] Easiest Way to stay on top of finances: I’ve been using rocket money for a few years now and loving it. I have multiple credit cards and two bank accounts and having it all in one place allows me to really be on top of things. Also the easy ability to see how much I spend in each category has been really helpful. Highly recommend!
- [R42] Has help me budget and save!: For a young guy out of college to now 4 years later I needed some help grasping my financials and being able to save for the future and present. Rocket Money has help me do that and create the proper basics to have down when sending, budgeting, and saving!
- [R38] Liz T.: Rocket Money saved me hundreds. Removed unnecessary subscriptions.
- [R39] Saves Me Money.: Saves me money!
- [R47] Works like they said it would: Makes cancelling subscription really easy and another app that helps you track spending
- [R9] No worries about what/when a bill is coming out!: It is a comfort to see at anytime when money is coming out of your account. Right at your fingertips,no searching for a bill - knowing what's coming i out and how much leeway I have for spending without over drawing.
- [R73] Focused: Focused on the importance of financial health and literacy. It helps me with reminders and planning.
- [R126] Easy subsciption management.: Helps out a lot on saving money. Saved me on late fees for my loans it reminds you for stuff
- [R248] It’s just okay: Started using Rocket Money about 3 months ago. It is good for a consolidated view. It only found about 15% of my subscriptions. It says it can lower the price I am paying for them but really it just gives me the support numbers or email so I can call. Again the app is fine. I have nothing to compare it to but I really wanted to help find all my subscriptions.
- [R1] UBS connection broken?! I’m gonna stop paying!: I like Rocket Money I like that it tells me my balance and every morning and things that come through and things that are coming and whatever I’m already on top of my own subscription so that’s completely useless but the most inconvenient thing is the handshake between my bank UBS checking account and I don’t know what they use plaid whatever it is i
- [R37] Save: I have been trying to save money, but it won’t link to my account. It’s linked to my account, but it won’t pull every time. I try to put something into the savings. It won’t let me it keeps showing a negative.
- [R58] Wont link my bank: Terrible. Tried 6 months ago to link my bank then deleted the app, got it back today and went thru the whole process just for it to not let me link my bank account again. Terrible.
- [R62] App not functioning.: I’ve input a lot of personal information on this app for the app all of a sudden to give me an access denial.
- [R2] So far it’s awful: I had really high hopes for this app and thought it was going to be super helpful but so far it’s kind of useless. It’s only picked up about half my expenses and is telling me I have way more money in my budget left to spend then I actually do.
- [R8] Not worth the money: This app isn't nearly what it advertises. "Unwanted subscriptions" are any payments of the same cost that seem to occur on a near-monthly basis. It referred to my transferring money to a friend a couple times as a subscription, among other things as well as the cost of me frequenting my favorite smoothie place? Speaking of subscriptions, though Rocket Money advertises clearing
- [R40] I love the app! But-: I really do love the app and the service it offers. However, im frequently getting notifications of "refunds" that were purchases that I have made and I have to report the issue. Hopefully with the update I just did maybe that issue may be fixed but it throws me and the numbers in the app off and makes the experience frustrating.
- [R67] Not helpful unless you are already cooked: If you pay cash for things or dont have many subscriptions or services it really isn’t helpful. The app is getting nearly EVERY category of spending wrong and is god awful at attempting to adapt to whatever is going on with my finances. The budget is terrible, genuinely not many options if I want to use it and allow it to track my budget instead of doing
- [R4] Costs me more than it helps: Costs me more money than it helps me save and I’ve keep trying to unsubscribe and it won’t let me… so frustrated
- [R22] 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡: I was charged for a membership that I never authorized. I never bought it.
- [R43] Scam: They charged me for the service twice and the customer support isn’t responding to my messages. This is fraudulent app
- [R54] Unknowingly being charged: I had cancelled this subscription thru my apple subscriptions… they continued charging thru the app & I had no idea. Super disappointed.
- [R10] Subscriptions: I only joined for subscription. review but it said none. That’s wrong
- [R21] Useless App: Thought this was supposed to make it easier to view and cancel subscriptions. They want you to manually input every single subscription. Kinda defeats the purpose, no?
- [R29] They want to help you cancel subscriptions by signing you up for a new subscription.: I was hopeful and now I am very disappointed. They want to help you cancel subscriptions by signing you up for a new subscription. There were no surprises in the list of subscriptions that Rocket Money had, and subscriptions that I expected to see were missing. Waste of time for me so far.
- [R32] Not worth signing up: I signed up to get them to cancel a subscription I couldn’t find to cancel because that is what they say they do when you link your accounts. Well they couldn’t find the subscription and told me to cancel it myself. So yeah I will start with canceling this subscription.
- [R14] Clunky: Not helpful.
- [R25] Budget: It’s low key hard to navigate and the budget is hard to figure out and set up
- [R35] Not Helpful for managing subscriptions: Not at all helpful really for anything. It will cost you much more than you save. Cancelling a subscription is a joke. Much simpler to just do it yourself. The app is confusing and hard to use. Now I gotta figure out how to cancel it!
- [R124] Confusing: The app is very confusing to use. I thought it would be much simpler.
- [R36] Annoying: The app is functional and ok to use, but my god the ads are so insanely annoying. There’s no such thing as an average person needing to budget that would be clueless about 23 subscriptions costing them $500 a month and who’s idea was it to get people in a podcast setting to talk about this app as well? Worst marketing I’ve ever seen
- [R53] Don’t download: Please don’t download rocket money they will sell your information or use it. I had an account with a cellular company and they tried buying things and adding more services to my account. Thankfully they knew my voice and it wasn’t mine. I actually had a conversation with the person who acted like me. He hung up after he was caught. They told me it was rocket money doing this
- [R79] Disappointed with aggressive advertising: I bought a premium account. Since that time I have received relentless rocket money ads across all platforms. Not clear why I am getting bombarded since I bought a premium account. Never received this ad abuse before I bought a premium account. I will cancel my account and not look back.
- [R6] No rollover: There is a lot to love about this app EXCEPT the one thing that would make budgeting truly functional - the ability to rollover surplus or deficits in budget lines from month to month. They have a savings assistance option that they rolled out that you could use for excess perhaps - like if you are saving for a vacation, etc - but it doesn’t help if you have quarterly bills like water
- [R18] Not a bunch of banking: I feel like a bunch of people use Cashapp, Affirm, Afterpay, Klarna etc. and for Rocket Money to still not have those as linkable just ruins the app for me. I’m bad with money and that’s why I have rocket money but I feel like it hasn’t helped me past just viewing subscriptions after like 6 payments.
- [R26] Missing Critical Feature: The mobile app is super nice. But, without an Apple or Windows app it brings less value. BOTTOM Line: get an app out that does not require me to pickup my phone to use it.
- [R27] Not customizable: Does not let you export specific transactions to csv files. Makes transferring info to excel sheets difficult
- [R12] Payments: Just friendly reminder you gotta pay monthly to save money💀
- [R19] *BEWARE* Predatory charging: They will estimate the amount you owe them by how much they save you annually so 12 months and they don’t let you adjust the percent or time frame. So if they save you $50 a month they say they save you $600 a year and they charge you $300 if you set it to 50%. I was under the assumption it with the monthly payment because I plan on moving in 4 months. It’s just weird
