You are looking for a highly user-friendly app to find local Houston events and are willing to contend with significant functionality issues and dead links . However, based on reviews, this app is largely non-functional.
Evidence note: App B, 365 Things to Do in Houston, has a higher lifetime rating but a significant number of recent reviews highlight critical functionality issues that make the app unusable. - [R6] First Community CU Houston Functionally ok… BUT…: Functionally the iPhone app is okay, but it’s only just O K. Many various features are missing such as a Zelle feature for example. Recent update finally added Face ID sign in. Great but about 5 years later than most other banking apps. At least the app is quick and responsive.
- [R10] First Community CU Houston Not very good UO: Horrible UI. Cannot set up autopay on loans for my car. You have to call the branch itself. Paying the auto loan from a different account requires you to jump Through hoops. Highly not recommended Jump
- [R12] First Community CU Houston Needs work: No pay off allowed. Doesn’t allow outside banks to transfer or pay off loan.
- [R13] First Community CU Houston App could use some work: I wish the app had sell or paypal access ability to be able to transfer from other bank accounts
- [R1] First Community CU Houston Making a payment: Make it easier to make a payment like putting a card on your account can’t figure out how to pay my car note
- [R3] First Community CU Houston Needs work: This app is okay, but it doesn’t give you a lot of details about the things needed for routine questions. For example, it says you can text but it doesn’t actually allow you to text. You have to call. You can write down the number and then text. Not user friendly.
- [R7] First Community CU Houston Christie: This app is not user friendly. Very difficult to navigate.
- [R5] First Community CU Houston FCCU: App works great
- [R14] First Community CU Houston Great app and Credit Union🤗: Always fast, accurate, and easy to use. Been a member for years!
- [R25] First Community CU Houston Truc: Good apps
- [R26] First Community CU Houston Horrible app: I have to open the app and close the app 10 times before it ever opens and loads to the home page. This happens every day
- [R4] First Community CU Houston Staff: For the record, I called three times in a row asking for help with this app. Staff told me and I quote someone should call you back in a couple of days. After no one called me back, I called a second time and at the conclusion asked for an employee ID number, a last name or some way to reference the conversation. To which I was denied. Straight up the worst service I’ve ever had and as soon
- [R27] First Community CU Houston Easy to navigate!: Great & prompt customer service for any issues!
- [R51] First Community CU Houston Customer Service Representative: Caring staff with reliable Products and Services
- [R22] First Community CU Houston Horrible: Doesn’t give exact balance doesn’t have Zelle just don’t like it overall
- [R24] First Community CU Houston FCCU needs improvement and update their banking: The app it mediocre. It dosent have everything other banks offer. FCCU needs to update to a better way to pay and transfer payments like Zelle
- [R40] First Community CU Houston Not convenient: Why on Earth can you not easily make payments on your loan or car within the app? You should be able to make a payment with an external bank account or card just like every other company allows. I have to go in person to make payments and it’s ridiculous. It’s 2026!!
- [R61] 365 Things to Do in Houston Calendar doesn’t work: Tried submitting this through app support but that just sends you to the main website. Tapping calendar doesn’t pull up a calendar. The text changes to select dates, but that’s it.
- [R67] 365 Things to Do in Houston Bombs Constantly: Steady stream of pop-up video ads locks up and bombs the app. Restarted 5 times in 5 minutes...now it’s history.
- [R68] 365 Things to Do in Houston What?: The website asks you to download the app, which then links you to the website. However, none of the links in the app work. What's the point of this again? Deleting.
- [R69] 365 Things to Do in Houston Beyond awful: Has hyperlinks to the web pages for events, but all the links are dead. You might be able to get to the actual article, if you get lucky enough to touch the screen in the right place enough times, although you never know what that right place will be. Utterly useless. Go to the website, it's much more functional.
