- [R25] OpenSnow Great Product!: OpenSnow is my go to weather forecast app for skiing. I also enjoy the daily snow updates and forecasting / weather informational articles.
- [R12] OpenSnow Great Forecasts!: I am a pro ski patroller in Wyoming. I use Open Snow regularly. Good accurate weather forecasting. Really nice site as it is totally geared towards skiers. I don’t think you can find a better resource for powder and big dumps. Great maps and localized forecasts. Highly recommend!
- [R71] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report Quick information: Great app for what I need to know.
- [R65] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report Maps and stuff: I enjoy using the app but a lot of features seems to be limited to the website. I feel it would be super useful to have an interactive map that you can click on to find resorts by state/region/country. For me, if I want to plan a trip and find the best option for either a solo or family trip I still have to visit the website. To me this seems like an easy fix.
- [R41] OpenSnow Easy to use: I appreciate being able to see all my favorite locations in one view for the quick comparisons I need to do each week when planning ski touring for myself or clients. The regional forecast reports are also helpful for a deeper synopsis of what might be coming.
- [R46] OpenSnow Amazing weather tool!: I originally started using OpenSnow as a tool to track ski conditions, but it’s honestly become one of my go-to weather apps year-round. The forecasts are consistently accurate, and the level of detail goes well beyond what you get from most standard weather apps. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, whether you’re checking snow totals, hourly forecasts, or broa
- [R81] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report Good but frustrating: Love the app, but very frustrating I have to add resorts to my favorites just to see what’s going on there. Would love to open the app and be able to see who got new snow, see resorts by region, etc. without having to search for them. I don’t want to add every resort to my favorites just to get updates on them.
- [R102] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report Constant pop ups: Great app, absolutely love it and use it every day during the season. However! Last update beginning of this year is causing a web browser pop up every time I change between option in the dashboard eg if I want to click I. Another tab within a resort it immediately opens a pop up. This is awful. Incredibly annoying. I have reinstalled the app several times and it’s not resolved.
- [R10] OpenSnow Reliable: Accurate forecasts for the areas I choose
- [R61] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report Wildly innacurate: Will say 11+ inches when the resort itself is predicting 3 inches. ?? Unreliable, better off with other sources
- [R67] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report What is going on with the accuracy: The info provided in the app is inaccurate. Doesn’t make it very useful if I have to double check everything using other weather tools and cross check on individual resort websites.
- [R6] OpenSnow expensive: This app has become too expensive for weather you can find elsewhere. They add features I don’t use and take away ones I enjoyed for an even higher price. I love that you can find multiple resorts in one place.
- [R11] OpenSnow Disappointed increased cost: Great app but are now charging too much, now you have to upgrade to get the services that were always standard before… had to debate renewal
- [R74] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report Awesome app!: Awesome app. I don’t see what all the negative reviews are for, this app is free no mo/yr charges. I used to be a big skier back in the 70’s early 80’s ( New England)not any more. I still like to keep up with the resorts and weather. The snowfall, weather and cams makes this app. I would add three things to update this app. 1) add an iPad app 2) Have an app sign in to sync all yo
- [R82] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report Ad implementation is an abomination that makes the app unusable: Used to enjoy and rely on this app, but it’s now FREQUENTLY opening ads in Safari, seemingly at random. I understand being ad supported, but this crosses a line into outright user hostile.
- [R64] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report Very unstable and buggy app.: Pages appear blank or freeze randomly.
- [R85] OnTheSnow Ski & Snow Report Great app but annoying bug made it unusable: This has been my go-to app for monitoring snow conditions across several ski resorts in the US and around the world. However, as of the last update, I now get a browser pop up every single time I try to interact with a resort’s page. I hope this gets fixed but until then, use something else.
