Sniper Shooter vs Shoot Out
Sniper Shooter offers more content and a generally stable experience despite some bugs, while Shoot Out is severely limited by its lack of content beyond level 8.
Sniper Shooter, with a higher lifetime rating, is praised for its fun and simple gameplay, though it faces criticism for high in-app purchase prices and recurring technical glitches. Shoot Out, while initially enjoyable, is hampered by a critical lack of content, with most players getting stuck at level 8 and complaining about excessive ads.
Head to head
you want a game with more levels and content to play through, are willing to overlook some bugs and potentially high in-app purchase costs, and prefer a game with a longer history and nostalgic appeal R18R20.
you are looking for a very short, simple shooter experience with decent graphics and don't mind the game ending abruptly at level 8, or if you are interested in the initial gameplay loop before it becomes repetitive .
Evidence note: Shoot Out's reviews are heavily skewed by the critical flaw of the game being unfinished and stuck at level 8, which significantly impacts user satisfaction across multiple dimensions.

- [R5] Sniper Shooter Awesome: Simple graphics but I fully enjoy it for all that it is. Thanks 🤙
- [R18] Sniper Shooter good but buggy: a rather enjoyable game! it’s fun in a very simple way. kills are rather satisfying. i like the puzzle of the higher levels. it is so annoying, however, when you shoot the light (with the intention to turn it off) and it just doesn’t, no matter how many times you shoot it/all around it. to get it to work, you just have to restart the level from the beginning and hope for the best
- [R20] Sniper Shooter Great Game!: I love it! Really fun and easy to play! Amazing to play over and over again.
- [R33] Sniper Shooter Bring back the old update!: I loved playing this game when I was really young, but it’s so annoying now, the way the layout is, bring back the previous update, please, I hate it now.
- [R9] Sniper Shooter Something wrong.: So every time I open the game and press play it turns to small screen and I do not no how to reverse it or fix it so can You fix it devs?
- [R11] Sniper Shooter Easy to play: Fun and easy to operate!
- [R15] Sniper Shooter (: My new iPad m4 doesn’t fill up my screen and it’s hard to play now :(. pretty good tho.
- [R1] Sniper Shooter Glitchy: The game is fine but I can’t play the multiplayer mode. I get about 3-4 shots in then it just turns off. Has been happening for about a week. Fix this please.
- [R10] Sniper Shooter Fix the store: I bought something from the store and I got nothing wast of money
- [R12] Sniper Shooter You can’t shoot the lights please fix: Will rate 5 stars when lights fixed :)
- [R13] Sniper Shooter Attention: I purchased weapons and the sniper shooter vip. It did not give me the vip or the weapons. It basically took my money. That’s bad business
- [R3] Sniper Shooter good but pricing is insane and it is p2w: i love the game but 24 dollars for a sniper is kind of a joke not gonna lie. and now you cant even play more than 3 games per day of multiplayer without having to pay for vip. thats ridiculous. ive already beat all levels and 95% of achievements/challenge and its very fun but sort of pay to win (p2w).
- [R6] Sniper Shooter Way Too Expensive: I’m in my mid 50’s and well established therefore I can honestly say that $7.99 a week is way over priced. What I compare as windows 95 era graphics. If you see people dumping after a week consider making a little off of many vs. a lot off of few which is the new norm. $.99 a mo paid up front for a year is completely doable. I may be one way off, but that’s what I see.
- [R7] Sniper Shooter Scam: In game purchases are just scams
- [R26] Sniper Shooter $24 a month is crazy: Too expensive
- [R61] Shoot Out Only up to lvl 8: The game is nice to pass time, but it’s not completed or fully developed! Only reaches up to lvl 8 and most of the guns and features are locked till after that lvl. Finish the game before releasing it pls!
- [R66] Shoot Out Once you get to Level 8 it’s done: It was a fun game up until you can’t go any further than level 8. It’s kind of pointless especially if you worked to get new equipment and everything else. I don’t want to delete but I have no choice.
- [R70] Shoot Out Developer abandoned game: Nothing after level 8.
- [R73] Shoot Out Level 8: Game won’t let you get past level 8, I’m going to delete it, I’m tired of playing level 8
- [R16] Sniper Shooter STOLE 2 DOLLARS FROM ME: I wasted 2 dollars to get a new sniper and I don’t have it, It’s making me pay more !! That’s ridiculous 😡
- [R19] Sniper Shooter Cant get the good guns: I purchased the upgraded version and it told me i cancelled the subscription, i went to my account and it showed i purchased the upgraded account. So i went back and attempted to use the better gun and it still would not let me!!
- [R76] Shoot Out Ads: Paid for no ads still having to watch ads quite annoying actually. I’d like a refund if I’m going to have to keep watching them.
- [R115] Shoot Out Pay 4 No Ads: The game was OK, it has a ton of ads. So I paid for “no ads”, however it’s not really true. It’s very misleading. Although you don’t get in game ads, you still have to watch ads if you want to collect your reward or if you wanna open certain doors at the end of each challenge. No ads, means no ads!! Apparently not here!
