Sniper Shooter vs Sniper Strike
Sniper Strike offers a more consistent gameplay experience despite its monetization issues, while Sniper Shooter is plagued by critical bugs and aggressive pricing.
Sniper Shooter, despite its higher lifetime rating, is currently suffering from severe technical issues, including screen scaling problems and non-functional in-app purchases, making it unplayable for many. Sniper Strike, while criticized for its 'pay-to-win' mechanics and ad frequency, generally delivers a functional and engaging sniper experience.
Head to head
You are looking for a simple, nostalgic sniper game and are willing to risk encountering significant technical bugs and aggressive monetization, or if you primarily play on a phone and hope to avoid the tablet-specific display issues R14R15.
You want a functional sniper game with engaging action and character customization, and are prepared to deal with frequent ads and 'pay-to-win' mechanics to progress .
Evidence note: Sniper Shooter's lifetime rating is significantly higher, but recent reviews are overwhelmingly negative, focusing on critical bugs and broken in-app purchases. This suggests a sharp decline in quality and reliability, making the lifetime rating misleading for current user experience. Both apps are free with IAP, and both receive significant criticism for aggressive monetization and issues with purchases, indicating a common friction point for free-to-play sniper games.

- [R3] Sniper Shooter good but pricing is insane and it is p2w: i love the game but 24 dollars for a sniper is kind of a joke not gonna lie. and now you cant even play more than 3 games per day of multiplayer without having to pay for vip. thats ridiculous. ive already beat all levels and 95% of achievements/challenge and its very fun but sort of pay to win (p2w).
- [R14] Sniper Shooter Childhood: Literally childhood best game
- [R21] Sniper Shooter Meh: Ok game but the gameplay is annoying - you need to tilt the screen to aim and the sensitivity is really low. Also you are only allowed 3 multiplayer levels a day, which is a bit annoying :/
- [R28] Sniper Shooter Literally trash: This game is fun but level two on chapter two is rigged
- [R1] Sniper Shooter Glitchy: The game is fine but I can’t play the multiplayer mode. I get about 3-4 shots in then it just turns off. Has been happening for about a week. Fix this please.
- [R9] Sniper Shooter Something wrong.: So every time I open the game and press play it turns to small screen and I do not no how to reverse it or fix it so can You fix it devs?
- [R11] Sniper Shooter Easy to play: Fun and easy to operate!
- [R12] Sniper Shooter Good game, lots of fixes needed.: So, I start the game off. The game screen doesn’t even fit on the full screen of mine. And I can’t start the mission because it gives me such a small screen that cannot maneuver.
- [R6] Sniper Shooter Way Too Expensive: I’m in my mid 50’s and well established therefore I can honestly say that $7.99 a week is way over priced. What I compare as windows 95 era graphics. If you see people dumping after a week consider making a little off of many vs. a lot off of few which is the new norm. $.99 a mo paid up front for a year is completely doable. I may be one way off, but that’s what I see.
- [R7] Sniper Shooter Scam: In game purchases are just scams
- [R10] Sniper Shooter Fix the store: I bought something from the store and I got nothing wast of money
- [R13] Sniper Shooter Attention: I purchased weapons and the sniper shooter vip. It did not give me the vip or the weapons. It basically took my money. That’s bad business
- [R16] Sniper Shooter STOLE 2 DOLLARS FROM ME: I wasted 2 dollars to get a new sniper and I don’t have it, It’s making me pay more !! That’s ridiculous 😡
- [R19] Sniper Shooter Cant get the good guns: I purchased the upgraded version and it told me i cancelled the subscription, i went to my account and it showed i purchased the upgraded account. So i went back and attempted to use the better gun and it still would not let me!!
- [R15] Sniper Shooter iPad won’t work: The IPad won’t go in fullscreen and starts to annoy me. I don’t know if it’s any other Tablet/IPad. I’m pretty sure you won’t recommend IPad for this. The game is pretty good though, in the phone. The game is Awesome!
- [R30] Sniper Shooter poor scaling, expensive: Screen scaling is way off (M1 12.9 iPad) - also it’s not worth $400+ a year.
- [R63] Sniper Strike Upgrade money grab: I have been playing this game for while. It’s unfortunate that with every new campaign you have to spend upwards of $50 to upgrade ALL of your weapons to continue playing. The game will literally not let you continue play until you have a weapon with a specific damage level, even if you maxed out your weapons on the previous campaign. I only use it now for arena play…bummer!
- [R100] Sniper Strike Kinda iffy: This game has potential but is much pay to play, and it kinda tricks you into giving $$. It took me a min to figure out what was happening, but it shows you what needs to be upgraded, and as soon as you upgrade, it says you need something else. Its pretty deceptive, to cost as much as it does to add gold and $$…i wouldnt have spent 1/2 the $$ & gold i spent, had i known what it was gon
- [R106] Sniper Strike Absolutely pay to win (DONT BUY disclaimer): After a quest I had to upgrade my damage but I didn't have enough money
- [R79] Sniper Strike Too many ads: Jumbled mess with too many ads
- [R88] Sniper Strike Ad crazy: Don’t get this game unless you want to watch a 1000 ads. It’s over the top ridiculous
- [R93] Sniper Strike Fun but too many ads: The fact that you can pay over $7/week to subscribe to premium whatever… and you still have to watch a crap ton of ads in order to make enough money to upgrade your weapons is stupid. If you’re paying that much money weekly you should be able to skip the ads. Any game that doesn’t give you that option isnt worth playing, in my opinion.
- [R105] Sniper Strike Gameplay good everything else frustrating: Ads are terrible, not only because they are mostly for Crypto and all sorts of scam games that promise to pay out, but half the time they just don’t end, or you end up not getting the reward because the commercial is just going nowhere after 30 seconds. Game itself would be good but gets really difficult without perks which are in real short supply. When
