Head to head
You want a straightforward Four In A Row game with a generally challenging AI and don't mind paying to remove ads, or are willing to tolerate a very high volume of ads in the free version R2R5R11R38.
You are looking for a Four In A Row game primarily for local two-player fun and are less concerned with online multiplayer or customization options .
Evidence note: Both apps have significant complaints regarding ads and online multiplayer functionality, making it difficult to find a clear winner in those areas. App A has a much larger review base, which provides more detailed feedback on its AI and ad experience.

- [R2] Four In A Row Fun: It is very challenging
- [R3] Four In A Row This game is ok: 4inarow is a good game the only thing I don’t like is that when I’m playing by myself and with the robot I always win like I don’t get it, the robot never wins like its trained to be stupid or something. And the game is on hard mode so it’s not like it’s on easy mode. I’m being generous giving this game a three out of five starz.
- [R4] Four In A Row Fake online: Played the same guy for 3 days in a row in online play. Never won a single game, was definitely just the difficulty cranked up to the hardest setting. A shame
- [R5] Four In A Row The hard bot is sooo fine: She’s so fine bru… #HEARMEOUT
- [R8] Four In A Row Connect Four for quick fun: This game is very easy to play Once you get started it hard to stop. Don’t leave home without it. Get it now!
- [R9] Four In A Row Screen flipping: You can improve the game a lot if you change the screen flipping settings because if you’re playing two V2, you can just go against each other and not have to play on the same side
- [R38] Four In A Row Great game: Really fun version of a classic game. Clean background and easy to play.
- [R75] 4 In A Row Board Game Connect It’s fun but.........: This I a great game. I just wish there was more to it. It is great to play with family and friends but can’t there be more?
- [R25] Four In A Row Decline: The app has gotten worse as far as functionality.
- [R42] Four In A Row App Malfunction: Good game of course, but the app is unbearable. I always have to leave the app when an ad pops up because I can’t cross out of it within the game
- [R58] Four In A Row Bad multiplayer: it doesnt work. the app is full to the brims of annoying ads too.
- [R64] 4 In A Row Board Game Connect Can’t share play: The share play doesn’t work and I can’t invite my friends. Every time it just gets stuck loading for whoever is trying to join.
- [R1] Four In A Row Stop pestering me to rate the game.: Initially rated it four stars and even purchased the no ad version…but every other game it keeps pestering me to rate the game…so now you get one star. Feels like a rip off to buy no ads if you’re going to continue to interrupt the flow of my game with your pop up rating request AFTER I already rated you…fix this, and I’ll fix my rating back.
- [R6] Four In A Row Review: Too many advertisements but otherwise GREAT
- [R10] Four In A Row Too many ads in the way: Pure telling me I have to wait 30 seconds to a minute after each time a game ends.. rather irritating.
- [R13] Four In A Row Ads: Too many ads
- [R21] Four In A Row Ads: Good game, but just too many ads and the ads last just way too long. There’s a ad after every game. They ain’t no calm 30 sec either. They 1-2 minutes+. If you willing to pay to have the ads be taken away. Great game, if not. Prepare to watch a ton of commercials (ADS).
- [R31] Four In A Row Addddddsssss: Too many long ads. Those things are like documentaries after each game smh.
- [R46] Four In A Row Ads are insanely long: The game itself works but the ads are like 30 seconds long after every single game and even when opening the app. I can’t deal with it. They aren’t skippable either.
- [R79] 4 In A Row Board Game Connect Ads: Forced Ad after every single match, actually disgusting.
- [R69] 4 In A Row Board Game Connect Multi Player Match Making Needs Work: Game play is standard. CPU is challenging. Finding an online opponent is terrible.
- [R11] Four In A Row Good game: I like it it’s fun and you can change the settings and the difficulty it’s so fun I do recommend that you start with easy because I’ve only beaten hard twice lol Very relaxing game just don’t crash out when you play hard lol
- [R29] Four In A Row Four in a row: I gave it a five but the bots are just so smart I can’t beat them but this is such a fun game!
