GoSpotCheck Team vs Stack Team App
GoSpotCheck Team is generally preferred for its core functionality in data capture and task management, despite performance issues, while Stack Team App struggles with intrusive ads and notification management, making GoSpotCheck the better choice for work-related tasks.
GoSpotCheck Team is designed for field team management, focusing on data capture and task completion, but users report frequent crashes and slow performance. Stack Team App aims to facilitate team communication and scheduling, but it is heavily criticized for intrusive ads and persistent notification issues.
Head to head
Pick GoSpotCheck Team if your primary need is field data collection, task management, and survey completion, and you value responsive customer support.
Pick Stack Team App if you need a free app for basic team communication and scheduling, and you are willing to tolerate intrusive ads or pay to remove them.

- [R2] GoSpotCheck Team Inventory Count: The one problem to fix is a search for locating the numbers of the product to make it faster to do inventory.
- [R6] GoSpotCheck Team Frequency?: This app is great but it doesn’t clearly explain the frequency required of each survey. Nor does it tell a rep what surveys are still outstanding or incomplete. If one is monthly and one is quarterly, there’s no way for a rep to know which is which or which one has been completed and which is still incomplete.
- [R12] GoSpotCheck Team Store mission: The app is very useful and captures data good. However it’s very slow to complete missions.
- [R14] GoSpotCheck Team Please add option to attach photo rather than just submitting live photos: Otherwise 5 star
- [R3] GoSpotCheck Team small issues can be hugely frustrating: several persistent issues. it crashes sometimes in the middle of a mission & loses all my progress (photos, notes, etc) so i have to go back and redo everything i just did. it also freezes up randomly and takes forever to start responding again. ***this next “issue” is more of a preference/suggestion than a true issue, but i think it would be a lot more ef
- [R5] GoSpotCheck Team Good app: Great easy to use app, interface is user friendly & everything you do need to find related to your account is easily accessible..the only feedback id like to add is to please try to include an update that optimizes battery usage when using the app..i use a huge chunk battery life within two-three accounts because of this app..if yall could fix that it’d be great.
- [R13] GoSpotCheck Team Horrible: Take forever for the list to download without having to uninstall and then reinstall the app or shut your phone off and on. This is ridiculous.
- [R1] GoSpotCheck Team Update: Updated the app to its newest version and now it won’t open at all.
- [R4] GoSpotCheck Team Broken: After the update nothing works as it should making a 30 minute job into an hour plus. Thanks guys.
- [R7] GoSpotCheck Team Worst Ever: The company we use this app for is getting a severe injustice and ripped off because none off their counts are correct because the app won’t scan about 40% of items.
- [R17] GoSpotCheck Team Go GoSpotCheck!!: GoSpotCheck makes my job easier.
- [R42] GoSpotCheck Team Easy to Use, this app makes my job easier: 5tt
- [R48] GoSpotCheck Team Makes my job easier: The program confirms that all required photos and questions are answered prior to leaving the business. The step-by-step walk-through of each required Objective makes it easy to for fill the required project. Thank you for an easy to use Go Spot Check app.

- [R56] GoSpotCheck Team GSC: Go spot check IT people have always been there to help out when I called. They are friendly and professional.
- [R107] Stack Team App Responsive development team: Update to original review: the two issues that I had with the app, incessant ads and poor in-app navigation, have been addressed. Shortly after I posted my original review, a member of the development team reached out to me and helped to resolve all of the issues I had with the app. I appreciate their willingness to receive feedback and address issues. Shout out to Crai
- [R108] Stack Team App Frustrating.: After getting used to the complexities of this app and making it work for us it has recently developed a bug where comments in events & chat randomly appear and disappear. These are visible in notifications except for one’s own comments! Tried deleting and reinstalling the app which briefly worked but it’s now returned to invisible comments. Have contacted support but still no respon
- [R64] Stack Team App Ads suck!!: Remove ads or let us pay to remove them. Very annoying
- [R67] Stack Team App App displays scammy ads: This app must use the dregs of advertising services, because I was just served an “ad” in the form of a scammy screenshot of an iOS Home Screen with a “Your device has been infected” alert. Horrific. The way these apps treat their captive users who are required to use it by some organization is disgusting.
- [R73] Stack Team App The ads are so intrusive: The full video ads interrupting what you’re looking at are incredibly disrespectful.
- [R76] Stack Team App Hate the adds: Nothing like a loud 30 second add when you’re trying to check a schedule.
- [R33] GoSpotCheck Team Takes forever to load & battery drainer: This app is great to fill out surveys needed, but it really drains your phone battery. You can fill out 3 surveys and have less than half of your battery life. Also - it’s been taking forever to open.. constantly searching and if your screen times out it takes forever for it to open again. Causing yet again, your battery life to dwindle. It never used to
- [R39] GoSpotCheck Team Photo stitching is a joke: I had to retake photos of every door multiple times. The app drained my battery before I could get each door clearly. I only did one reset and my battery was full at the start of work. The photo stitching is awful!!!
- [R61] Stack Team App Notifications don’t clear: Every time I get a message I have to read it under both Chats and under my ‘teams’ chat so it’s twice as much work just to get the notification to go away. Waste of my time.
- [R72] Stack Team App Frustrating App: For people who have used team sports apps, you know that the basic functionality is fine. But there are two major problems. First is that you have to pay for the ad-free subscription for each user. There isn’t an option for a family subscription. Second, the notifications never go away. You have to click in and out and tap into chats, then notifications, then videos all in an effo
- [R74] Stack Team App Notifications: This app serves its purpose but there are other similar apps I like better. There should be a way to customize notifications. And once you click on/view them, they don’t always go away. The little red notification bubbles that won’t go away drive me crazy!
- [R78] Stack Team App Nice communication tool notification clearing horrendous: This app is great for communication with parents or putting the schedule out but clearing notifications is horrendous and take multiple times going in and out of the application and the specific area where the notification is from clear and sometimes that doesn’t even work.
